I remember when the Swedish Bofors wagon was still 2.7 (the Bofors truck still is) with it’s insane SAPHE.
Good times…

Ooh boy… ever having a bad day? Hop in the bofors truck and shred everything that u come into contact with until someone revenge kill u in a plane. Leopard 40/70 also never fails in the bullying category
My evidence is my statistic which has 1.5 KD ratio difference.
It has better cannon while being same versatile. I dont believe that the cannon worse than Tiger 2s with the 15 second of reload is great at today`s 7.3-8.3 balance.
DOnt get me wrong, T32 isnt bad. T32 is my pick if its T32 or M103 choice, but i would also pick T29 instead of T32. At least to have chances against real strong heavies.
Yes, it sure is as i bring it to uptier. But it performs well. Plus better survivability as has more spacing. Hepls well agains HEATFS and APDS.
Not if they know where to shoot. See the ammo stored behind the turret cheek?

That’s the first stage ammo stowage, meaning it’s always full, and it’s a very consistent oneshot if hit with anything, and every HEATFS and APDS round it can see at that BR will easily pen that area.
Most US tanks around this tier share that weakspot, and so it’s where I always aim when given the chance. Only exceptions are the T32 (Because the rounds are covered by the black hole mantlet) and the M103 (Where that ammo rack isn’t considered first stage).
It’s so big that it will occasionally troll people if they snapshot at your side profile, but A) It’s inconsistent, and relies on them not knowing where to aim and B) That’s equally true of the M103, except that has much better frontal armor that makes side shots more of a requirement.
T30 is mostly just funny to play. You can drive around with very little effort/situational awareness and just bonk people.
I know that alright. Still that isnt easiest part to pen, and usually it survives severa hits.
thats lie. T30 is hard to play, easilly the hardest HE slinger out ther.

Any HEATFS or APDS round around it’s own tier, and especially in the uptiers you bring it into, will punch right through. Shots like that are the only way I stay sane while using 90mm HEATFS.
Meanwhile, if you accidentally angle your turret off to the right (Say you’re engaging another target), you open up a free shot even for high powered AP/APHE.
I guess 68-42 is 10 now… with these low numbers K/S is propably better
for T29 K/S 2.8 – bit better then the 2.1 on T32… but like you said you played it long time ago and T29 recently so you got better in the mean time… and its not crazy outlier you played a lot of tanks with K/S between 2-3 so you know what you are doing in game at least.
But you have some crazy outliers in your roster like KV-7 with k/s of 4.4, T34 with 3,5, KV1 zis5 with 3,5 all with similar number of battles to T29 where you have 2,8 but you are here arguing T29 is OP and needs to go up in BR… why are you not here arguing these are OP… i wonder… but to be fair statistics with these kind of low numbers of battles are useless but at least they show its not one of the OP vehicles in your roster but just one where you do slightly above your average.
I mean if you compare it to HE slingers like the modern undertiered ones at 7.0-8.0, sure it’s worse than those.
However it takes almost 0 effort for me to play the T30 and I much rather play the T30 than the M109A1 for example.
Well thats no doubt
Ah happened to me several times. That still requires some skill and luck from the opponent
You forgot to add 9 from the arcade. So yes, its 10
its 3.7 kill/death and ~1.95 at T32 tho.
Not like i played it 5 years ago tho. And i dont believe that difference between me at 5500 hours and 6000 ingame is such a significant. Tho i can accept your point…
I mean, you also need to understand that at 4,3s there are 1) just more enemeis 2) they themselves are worse players. KV-7 is pretty balanced if you ask me, it just punushes newbies very much. T29 also punishes newbies greatly, but the newbie amont at that BR is just different.
I still remember getting my Tiger 2H and meeting T29 back in the day and it was hilariously bad.
uh, no, i argue that it shouldnt get lowered. Its fine where it is, its better than T34 and T30 so it is a bit higher. The only reasoning for it to be higher is IS-6 at 7.7 xD
I only choose t30 as its premium. It forgives more mistakes tho, i agree. But its just a worse slinger -basically twice longer reload and worse mobility.
Ye sorry i have joined it with the other guy here claiming its 7.7 material… or 7.3 or some crap like that. Its fine At 7.0. that was my point
Not really there is bunch of tanks that cant pen it at all as long as they dont get in its side or the tiny drivers port… Played recently with a friend who just started and i needed to bust out the M10 to deal with one that just rushed spawn fully bushed up and parked so we could not get on its side without getting by it. met the same guy in 3/5 games that evening. it has three guns and fast reload. and at this BR a lot of tanks cant do shit against it without even the reverse speed to back up after messing up a shot to the tiny drivers port. I honestly think they are more pain to deal with then KV1-E.
It has two major weakzones in front to the sides of the “box”
Yes, also that. Guns arent much so uptiered its useless, but downtiered it shreads anything it meets.
May it have been me?)
I used it recently to grind silver for lootboxes. Got one gucci plane, but thats all. Still worth it.
Got one huge game
If you are fully bushed up and same M10 killed you twice on one game (used backup) and then got you with APCR from the event chaffe and bombed you with corsair in the others the ye.
PS bushes in low tier – not cool.
And the weak spots are two shot ones i think and only when not angled… first shot there gets eaten by the fuel tank, i found the gunners port and the area around it more reliable to one shot with us 75 but its tiny…
I choose the T30 over the M109A1 because it’s just more versatile against ground vehicles.
I can deal with a slower vehicle with a long reload but with good gun angles and forgiving protection. However I hate tall and lightly armored vehicles with only -3 gun depression (which is exactly what the M109A1 is).
I agree with 7.0.
Also it has an ammo box now so ammo count is less of a problem.
Definitely APDS and HEATFS.
Though APHE (which is what most (viable) tanks at 6.7 - 7.3 have tbh) can struggle penetrating unless the T29 is not looking.
You’d have to shoot the cupola (which I find unreliable), forehead (which is quite small) or turret breech (which is quite trolly) instead.
At 6.3, the M109 is quite good for what it is, but I agree that the T30 can be more usable.
