Ground Vehicles **PROPOSED** RB battle rating changes

That’s why there’s a br difference :)))

T29 should be 7.3 and the IS-6 7.7
Clearly that didn’t skip across your mind.

Do I need to go through the full list of what’s better on the T29? Or will you stop being so willfully biased?

@StuckOnRock

Spoiler
  1. T-10A has a low speed stabilizer, not a full speed. So correct yourself.

  2. Using the Best round on the T-10A, and aiming in the same spot as the T29, it cannot pen the T2 because of the size of the round, it would hit the front plate instead of the side, and would simply non pen.

  3. T-10A isn’t that great nor is the IS-3. Both can get annihilated by many vehicles with one shot, either by crew kill, or thanks to ammo placement, an ammo det. HeatFS is even more potent against them, but they’re reload is so long it’s not to hard to counter an IS tank.

  4. Good luck consistently getting a 122mm to pen a T29 at 500 meters, especially in a game. This is even worse when USA players love to wiggle super hard and be spastic to not die.

  5. Again, do not say “you got gaijined” four people shot that same T29 I did with a Surbassie, there is no excuse. Hands down.

Ok, start by telling me why the T29 belongs at 7.3 and what vehicles at 7.3 are comparable to it that currently exist.

You can’t say the same thing I said to you and act like it makes sense.

A Russian “main” except I don’t really play Russia anymore, after realizing how badly placed a lot of the tanks are in br.
Not to say I do poorly in them.

But I have 2 friends, one a USA main, and another a Sweden main, and they both played a bunch of the Russian tech tree recently to get up there in research.
They both hate it, why?
The consistent fuel explosions from enemies players poor shots.
The long reloads, for not much reward, the “I have 16 weak points, and 1 strong point” armor schemes that make it rather difficult to play anything that isn’t a T-34-57 or 85, or the later IS tanks.
The lack of gun depression,
And so on.

Btw I’ve been playing way more USA, and Italy over everything else, since you wanted to bring up stats.

Works 80% as well. Simply slow to 22kph to shoot.

It’s just the 2nd or 3rd best 7.7 heavy tank, that’s all.

Yeah so can T29 by vehicles at a lower battle rating than it.

So if low speed stabs are so OP, why are so many USA vehicles equipped with them so low in br?

Secondly, 2nd or 3rd best… so who? You?

#34 is very far from 2nd or 3rd best

Lastly, if you’re so confident that lower br’d tanks can annihilate the T29, let me get out my KV-220, and you hop in your T29.
There’s a host of 6.0 tanks that won’t easily pen it.

Also, the T29 is the only 7.0 besides the now removed Tiger 2 105.

What is this even supposed to mean? That stabilizer is the sherman’s main advantage. That’s why they are the BR they are. If the M4 76 had no stab it would be 3.3 or 3.7 like the Panzer 4. 4.0 max. The stabilizer is incredibly strong.

Going by my assessment? Do YOU go by how well the community does in vehicles to assess them?

You’re using a full uptiered heavy tank to try to prove your point? Definitely shows desperation. How many tanks do you know that can’t pen the MG port or LFP?

The Pz.4 is under br’d it should be moved back to 4.0
And an non stabbed m4a2 would be 5.0

Your biased mentality blinds you immensely.

Yes I do generally mix 50:50 my experiences to community ones. It’s called fairness…? And logic.

A kv220 can see a T29, often you fight things can rarely pen you in a T29, unless it’s a TD.

What do you want me to get a Tiger 1?

Why

It’s funny you mention the tiger 1 because

Give me an example of a vehicle then, stop spamming the same dramatic line trying to defame my character, because you are incorrect.

Just accept the L. I’m giving you an out. Say the T29 is 7.3 material, and we will leave it at that.

This is really cringe. Can you defend why the T29 should be 7.3

Yes, I can defend why it’s a 7.3 because the sum of its parts make it almost 7.7 worthy.

  1. It’s got a great 105mm cannon.
  2. It has not 1, 2, but 3x HMGs
  3. It has 6 crew members.
  4. It has a better reverse gear than a lot of 7.7s
  5. Its armor is trolly and will often eat / bounce things it shouldn’t.
  6. -10 gun depression, and +20 elevation.
  7. It’s turret slewing rate is equal to or higher than even some 7.7s

Now give me examples of vehicles you claim will easy pen it in a full uptier. 6.0 → 7.0

You listed the pros of the vehicle, not why it’s a 7.3. Tell me why these pros make it a 7.3 and not a 7.0.

Also, the armor is the same as the T34 at 6.7 who also can be penetrated in the LFP and MG port by basically everything it can meet as well. At 7.3 what exactly do you think is going to struggle to penetrate this, none the less at 7.7+

Like, the T32 is currently 7.3. Go ahead and compare the T32 and the T29 for me and tell me which you think is better. I dare you to say T29 and defend that take with reasons

Lets assume only full downtiers then… like that ever happens.

Tiger 2 and anything with long 88 … straight through the mantlet same as T29 to tiger 2… its about who sees who firs with those. and they are as low as 5.3 on the Nashorn.Anything else german in this range too…

Anything with APDS/HEAT can go though the side of the turret on the left side wehere primary ammo is (not even back of the turret just on the side)…

British things. pretty much all of them at this BR Charrioteer, Cention and ratels there ane not that many british 6-7 br range wehicles.

Japanese… ST-A and above have all heat available… easy kill.

French… again some heat, and some even on the 5.7 M36B2 that does wonders for heavies. Getting closer to 7.0 even the main autoloaded solid shot ones go straight though.

Israel… M51 easy pens T29 with its HEAT

Italy… they dont have much at this BR range but A lot of the rats there have heat…

And for russia you should know… anything with the 100 can go straight though the hull wth APHEBC which you should be using over APCBC unless you really need the pen becase of the better angled pen. Even smaller calibres straight though the roof because russian APHE is stupid at angles and somehow does not bounce but goes alway though it. And even a little bit of angled turret means you can go though it at the side next to mantlet. And that is disrefarding the regular US tank weak spots like mashingung and lower plate.

So SU-122p, SU-100, T34-100, T44-100, T44-122, SU-100P, Object 268… IS2… well that one needs to get the shot of i wont argue that this one is crap

The T44-100,Object 268 and SU-100P are in my experience the most difficult to fight in T29, the T44-100 is super trolly, Object 268 has only really tiny weakspoit and SU-100P players generally know how to play well.

Maybe you are just using the APCBC rounds? that is why you have problems?

And ye i really dont play russia that much but even with the T44 FM that i got from battlepass i managed 2.9 K/D… and i have like 40 battles in it so i dont know how to play it all that well… Russia really suffers…

T32 has 1 less crew, 2 less HMGs, and no add on track armor like the T29.

Therefore it has 3 benefits for a slightly weaker turret.

Thanks for proving my point more.

Since the T32 is appropriately br’d

In exchange, the T32 is far more mobile (Same engine and transmission but 10t lighter), has far better armor everywhere that makes it resistant even against early HEATFS, APDS and 155mm HE on the turret front, better turret traverse, and has a smaller overall profile (Particularly when side on).

The only real advantage the T29 has is a better gun, and the extra coaxial .50s are nice to have sometimes.

Bringing up the missing track armor is particularly hilarious when the T32’s armor is far superior to the T29’s in literally every respect. Since basic math doesn’t seem to be your forte, ~200 effective is better than ~160mm + ~30mm.

Funny that you rant on about Russian vehicles.
Because even the best round has a Low pen chance on the cheeks of the turret, and can pen the mantlet if your lucky.

And for the M51 is a given, that thing has a super OP heat round for a 6.0? 6.3?

Long story short it’s all the heat slingers, which things like the IS-3/4/6 are super allergic to even more so than the T29.
Yet they’re higher br. Odd

The difference being the hull armor. The later IS series have hulls that are largely immune to AP/APHE shells, whereas the T29/30/34 are only resistant to them if hulldown. And even then, sufficiently powerful APHE will just lolpen right through the mantlet. The 122mm D shell can pretty consistently oneshot them at up to 500m by just aiming below the gunsight.

And, of course, the hull is paper. The machine gun port, the UFP, the hull hatches, all are easy pens for everything, while the stronger AP rounds at the tier will lolpen right through that addon track armor like it’s not even there.

The later IS series are difficult to balance properly owing to their absurd armor layouts, with limited or no consistent frontal weakspots. This means, like with the T32E1, you’re either practically invincible or have no effective armor, depending on what you’re fighting, and that’s largely out of your control. This makes them very questionable to use as yardsticks for other, more conventionally balanced heavy tanks.

Nope. Adding an earlier variant that had a larger explosive cavity.

I dont see reason to some of them, they had negative points too

Conqueror: Stay at 7.7 due to its long reload, poor mobility, cant depression its gun like the other british tanks, it go only 6°, its armor isnt crazy tho, its strongest point in the hull is just 120mm angled, its a T-54 with less angle basically, the turret is strong but can be easily damaged by heat (cuz gaijin cant model the spaceds correctly) also the mantelet is very weak, the turret ring is big enough and everything can go threw, the commander hatch is big and can be penned too that and the lack of 10° of gun depression dont let it be a hulldown king

KV-220: Stay at its BR, You forgot it has 100mm all around ye? It would be an absolute nuclear bomb vs a bunch of coughin babies. The strongest (i think) tank in 5.7 is the Commander version of the Porsche Tiger that has 200mm UFP, but only that still a tank with huge weakspots and arent that friendly agains errors if youre fighting lightly skilled players, the 220 had 100mm even in the butt and most of tanks cant even pen it, imagine this going against 4.7 💀

Panthers: Stay at its BR, 6.3 for Panthers? Theres no significant upgrade on them to get this high in BR, they are in 6.0 for a reason, Weak Armor (even if angled but it fights things that can easily break them apart), its huge, its transverses are bad, its gun elevation speeds are bad, also their gun isnt something crazy, they are in a good spot, the Panther F is the worst due to its flat turret front even with some extra milimeters of armor, everything go thrw and you can only angle a little and hope it hits the mantelet, or just become a free kill

----------------------------------------//------------------------------------
My Proposals: some tanks arent there so at my opinion playing or going against them

AMX M4: 7.0 > 6.7, it was 6.7 but for some reason it get up to 7.0 while T34 and Tiger II(H) still in 6.7, due to autoloader? That doesnt matter, its still had only solid AP, its armor is the same as a Panther (80mm front), big sillouette and also it takes a while to reload the drum, yeah its fast and had a good transverse but this is due to its light turret armor and light side armor too, this tank isnt that heavy and its nemesis are heavy tanks with actual armor

Chieftain Mk.10: 9.3 > 9.0, it was 9.0 just months ago but for some reason gaijin just throw it up, i dont see this tank broken anywhere, yes it got a laser rangefinder and APFSDS, but its mobility is poor, its transverse is poor, its engine is weak, the tank is huge asf, also the only armored part of this tank is the extra turret armor that had huge holes on it everything go thrw, even the Chief 900 going up is kinda meh since it dont even had the extra turret armor and its engine is just slightly better but in reality its not so different from the Mk10, its just the same tank in pratice with less armor and just little (very little) more acceleration, also in the same BR (9.3) we had the Al-Khalid that is a Jordan Chieftian with a really good engine that can difference itself from other chieftains, but its right in its BR.

Char 25t: 8.0 > 7.7, it get to 8.0 a long time ago, people nowdays are more skilled (i think) this thing only has a 90mm with M82 from 6.7 (even some 5.7 had this shell) isnt crazy, but it becomes “”" Good “”" due to its 4 sec autoloader, but having that doenst make the tank automatically good, the french players are skilled players but this tank isnt made for 8.0 mid CW MBTs, its a 7.7 tank from autoloader frenchies that should fight Post-ww2/early Cold war veichles not modern veichles it clarely goes against
