Ground SPAA 8.0-9.0 way too OP

Lately in Ground RB at 8.0–9.0, the match balance has been getting really frustrating. Enemy teams are spamming SPAA vehicles like the Gepard and its equivalents to the point where it feels impossible to play anything else. Every time I try to move out of cover or push an objective, I get instantly shredded by rapid-fire cannons. These vehicles are showing up in such high numbers that they aren’t just defending against aircraft anymore — they’re dominating ground battles outright. It takes a lot of the fun out of the game when you spend more time dodging autocannon fire from SPAA than actually playing tanks. I think the situation needs to be looked at, because right now the gameplay at these BRs is heavily skewed and discouraging.

I believe they messed up some codes in Gepard’s ammunitions, I’ve main 8.7-9.0 for a long time and rarely ever find Gepards an issue until recently, god knows why I was frontally penned by Gepard APHE (not APDS) multiple times in some of the more armored vehicles like T-72s, I actually went the entire year without getting killed by them because I could just sit and snipe them in distant, they are always foods but now my mbt are foods for them, now that I have to think twice when we are aware of each other presence lol

I don’t mention Falcon because last event I was getting blasted by a Falcon in my T-64 in around 500m, I got my barrel yellowed the moment I sees him, then fire the weapon then the barrel turned into a banana peel and firing blank. Since I also have broken tracks and the Falcon empty its ammo on me and weren’t be able to kill me, I THINK I would be long dead if it were Gepard.

the problem might come from the server capability to calculate every ammo position,…

Server are pretty potatoes, don’t forget that guys.

most tanks have tiny holes in the armour that are almost impossible to hit with a normal vehicle, but with the amount of rounds the Gepard fires it has a good chance of hitting it after a long burst

To add to this, the more shells that you can let off, the more likely you are to get some random ridiculous ricochet too.

Ground SPAA 8.0 - 9.0 is perfectly balanced as they should be.
They have effective anti-air ranges of 2.5km, same as the effective ranges of aircraft.

They of course struggle against tanks, but can destroy distracted vehicles.

Not so. they can delete the barrel and tracks on all of my t55 variant tanks instantly from almost any angle and range. Its to the point where 1/3 of the teams are composed of spaa at any given time. Ive been playing for years and this is not usual.

I’ve quite literally mained 8.3 - 9.3 ground for the last 2 months straight.
I’ve never once seen a SPAA do anything other frag people not paying attention or fragging planes within 2.5km.

So it’s obvious you’re projecting your own experience onto me.

Once again, said T-55 has to be flanked for that to be easy, and letting people flank you is not the tactic to make.

And yes, I’ve seen some teams full of SPAA, and each time they lost because SPAA is worse than MBTs by far.

Bro you must be on something claiming these SPAAs are balanced.

Personally only with like 60 APDS rounds I’ve found the SIDAM 25 to be an absolute menace even more despicable than the Fox.

Then you get to the 35mm vehicles which are just insidious with their APHE

APHE if it pens… I’ve fragged more SPAA as a tank than SPAA have fragged me by over 5:1 in the last month.
They aren’t even on my radar of potentially powerful things.
TURM 3? Sure, not random SPAA whose primary targets are aircraft, light tanks, and the odd MBT they catch lacking.
