Well technically the mission are mostly realistic. They aren’t authentic.
People misuse the word realistic quite a lot.
But technically you can draw a white circle on the ground and fight over it. That alone makes it realistic.
Because for realism it just needs to be physically possible. It’s just not authentic.
But yeah the missions need to be better. However vehicles are more urgent. Since we need to get the sim audience back. Otherwise you create missions with the feedback of the shooter crowd. Which is useless.
Most ideas you proposed are quite hardcore at least for WT standard, but what ever switch hardcore to basic in my statements, the point remains the same.

Unlike you I§m just being realistic what can be achieved and how. SIM needs larger crowd as it is now and then and only then a s slim chance that GJ will throw in some man hours into it and might bring some SIM features, Because so far they do mostly “emergency” fixes.
SIM now has larger issues then just it is not a SIM according to some, frequently mentioned problems:
SIM rotations are not available all the time
“land leased” vehicles, which is in deed atrocity but fixable in MM

So flaws needs to be addressed prior improvements otherwise improvements might be in vain.
And thats why we hate this thread, but rather then giveing constructive ideas people take rather the time and attack other peopls ideas. Sure you can talk about them but not dismising the other guys idea.
As much as I want, not all changes will come and for sure not at once. But we need atleast a list on how to improve sim ground. Let gajin do it slowly over time. Just saying I want and not giving any hints on how will lead to nothing. Every one has diffrent prioritys, makes them not uniportant or less valubele.
We could atleast produce a list of wishes that can be in the name of sim counity passed on.

We are talking about the concept of a Simulation, the only one that exists in WT is air sim. So it is the only reference point.
Check the playercards in sb ec… Either they come from rb as abusers or the are sb players…
SB should be a ruleset where the rules apply to everyone the same. Simple as that. It also isn’t fair that ground units get to play their pew prw game while the planes in the same match have to … Welll… Fly.

You lack reading comprehension if you think that is the only option i gave. GRB and GSB are substitute goods at the moment. If you want to take the economic angle then you shouldjust delete the mode. The costa vanish and since you offer the substitute goods you are not loosing customers. The ground players that play GSB most of the tine have more time in RB anyway (just look at yourself). They won’t quit WT. And the pilots in GSB will move to air SB. Gaijinn will not loose players over it.
Economically a better solution than keeping GSB running. Remember you are the one bringing in the economical angle, not me.
Last time I checked, Targeting pods, Helicopters Air-to-Ground missiles tec. are “mouse clicking game”.

I agree. But they aren’t on all CAS. So it isn’t a CAS problem but only a problem with the implementation of newer technologies. Saying it is CAS remains wrong. Since this isn’t true for CAS in general. Bombing with a p47 is unfair towards the plane, due to mouse aim spaa and tanks.
