Ground RB needs safe spaces for multi vehicle SPAA trucks

I don’t want to write too much, but after dozens of recent matches I’ve come to the conclusion that these huge vulnerable 3x truck complexes just can’t play on almost all Ground RB maps.

Its just too small. There is nowhere you can go. You’re either crammed between high up buildings or rocks on small cqc maps or the wide open ones have absolutely no cover for your high up trucks. As soon as you try to leave the spawn, you get shot from all directions. Sometimes even inside the spawn. The trucks are too high up. No chance. You’re also on the recieving end for air units. They know you’re hugging the spawn cause you can’t go anywhere without getting killed by ground units. Enemy air units just GNSS prefire missiles into the spawn and score. Its just dumb.

There needs to be a map zone just for these new SPAAs. Whose idea was it to put these triple complexes, which can’t defend themselves, onto team deathmatch frontline maps?`

Its beyond silly. What game company seriously puts just trucks next to T-90 and Leopard tanks?

I think adding several good options would be to include locations near the airport to protect aircraft, especially those equipped with nuclear weapons, towards the end of the match, and locations near helicopter landing pads that also allow respawn on the traditional map. These points would have ammunition and repair depots, and could be used as targets for aircraft and artillery in mixed-player matches. Sorry for the translation; I’m using a translation program. Thanks.

Simple solution would be that these trucks may just leave the map boundaries without map timer. Restrict them to the own map half and it would be at least something.

So you could drive away from ground combat and position yourself in safety. It would be just real. Cause no one deploys anti air missile batteries directly at the frontline.

Another simple fix would be to make the radar dish not part of the damage system. And invisible to thermal viewers. Might be not real…but tbh…its also not real that you’re in hot ground combat zones with a 200million AESA radar complex. I’m sick of radar dish shots. WT ground maps are not made for this.

This is a very good solution, but the problem is that some maps are surrounded by mountains or are in a high area with a steep area around them, and when ammunition runs out, there is no solution after ammunition box.

unfortunately WT maps are not made for many things we have in game currently, even single vehicle SPAA trucks like the FlaRakRad, Pantsir and Type 81 often have a hard time finding a semi safe spot.
The small maps also mean even if you do find a good spot to park, it’s also not uncommon to have a salty CAS player YOLO charge into your spawn in a light tank to revenge kill you.

They need larger (not flat) maps.

That’s the funny thing, they add a system where three vehicles can be used, when practically all maps can’t even hide one vehicle anymore. It’s curious how much the devs improvised just to please the current core player base, especially after ignoring them for years. Apparently, something changed and the devs got scared, and ended up selling their souls to the devil, haha.

High cliffs and buildings of not flat maps provide ground cover, but block radar arcs. You just detect enemy air units when they’re above you, which is insta death.

It also doesn’t prevent any ground player to approach your complex and simply lol kill it.

You need distance from ground combat. Radar range is huuuuge. Firing range as well. You don’t need to be close to ground combat. I have to admit that I also exploit the nonsense system. Most have huge smoke trails. You simply see where they are and slap artillery on it or drive into range to machine gun these 3 trucks.

Something needs to be revamped here. You can’t play top tier GRB with these trucks.

(If Gajin wouldn’t have introduced super op air to ground ordnance like KH-38 or LMUR, nothing of this would have been neccessary. I just ask why this was even introduced. This set this nonsense spiral in motion.)

You dont need mountains or skyscrapers. You just need hills.

Some maps have larger areas but you have no where to hide as it is flat.

With decent hills, you can block LoS from tanks while keeping good radar coverage. We have some spots on some maps but they are very rare.
