So whilst in battle, I noticed a player was using a T-34 57, killed a few players, I intercepted and destroyed. This player then went into CAS - Specifically a ITP M1! After flying around, killing a few, then returned to the Airfield, landed and left the Plane in order to spawn into a KV1!
Now when it came to deaths/points. When leaving the Plane it stated “Vehicle Lost” HOWEVER there was no death recorded on said player.!
Is this correct, I didnt think you could leave plane, retain spawn points and transfer vehicles pretty much free of charge and free of points being awarded to the enemy.! Pics attached…
Your thoughts?? Personally something is seriously wrong there.!
You don’t retain spawn points after landing at the airfield and leaving the aircraft. The points used for the aircraft simply disappear, and you can’t take it again without a spawn point penalty. The only difference is that the enemy gets nothing for a ‘kill’. On the other hand, why should the enemy get anything if the player took the aircraft, did his job, and landed safely? Points for doing nothing?
J out when undamaged on the af never (or for at least half a decade) credit kills for he’s simply not killed - does not regain any sp, and not crediting the kill to anyone cuz no one has managed to killed him
The only benefit is to have better stats. He’s even losing time to play by flying back, plus giving up the chance to fly another run free of charge, for cas cant help with ground zones
Holding J just makes the pilot get out of the plane, this has drastically different results when he dose it at 5000m alt and 400kph IAS compared to parked on the runway.
leaving a vehicle no matter the context counts as a death however doesnt appear on the killboard if it was a J out at the airfield. I dont think it affects K/D as it doesnt affect the killboard tho
