For me CAS its a necesary evil. It prevents from players to spawn in op spots, they will always have the first shot and much of the time out of arty range (not like they help a lot).
But at top tier they need to fix spaa

AA is very boring, even when playing the ones that doesn’t take much skill at all, it’s like watching paint dry for some of us bro
The issue with the ‘Just play SPAA/Get good at SPAA’ argument is that it forces you to play SPAA instead of a tank; which people want to play in ‘Ground AB/RB’. A decent amount of SPAA’s are terrible at killing tanks which means your gameplay engagement is limited to the marginally small, compared to tanks, amount of air vehicles in any given match.
When people want to play tanks telling them to ‘Just play another vehicle type’ is a poor argument.
i get killed by planes, i spawn AA, i kill planes, i J out and hop back in tank
also its famously a problem how many AA are good at killing tanks, so just use those? and ignore all the ones that dont have at least enough pen to kill light tanks
yes i agree from top tier russia to mid tier usa cas is a pain in the ass so yes we should have a separate game mode with only tanks

yeah, except in this case 90% of the papers loses to the rocks anyway

Been argued to death a million times, and a thousand threads have been made about it.
Gaijin have repeatedly said It wont happen. Your options are to learn to live with it or learn how to counter it, either with SPAA or your own aircraft.
Thats all there really is to say.
depends. there are some spaa that struggle due to one, or both, of the main spaa issues.
A: need to be brought above their br to fill a gap
B: their br is above their effective aa ability because their anti-tank ability is strong.
A is pretty straight forward to solve. Add more spaa.
B could be solved but it would make a lot of people upset when they cant run around in a spaa like its a autocannon light tank.

“Cas is spammed and makes tanks unplayable” but also “there are never planes in my games”
At the end of the day, gaijin wants a combined arms game as their main draw. Maybe one day they will do something about the legacy game modes of air ab/rb/sb and bring them out of the early 2010s.

Spawn a good SPAA, watch your radar for planes, lock them and shoot them down
Real damn helpful when your best SPAA have no radar and CAS has 2x your range!

Yeah right, or they just ignore you and keep shredding you team. you do realize there is CAS that can almost out range the Pantsir at 10.7 right?
Well they are always here except when i play SPAA and then magicaly they are all gone.
Simply don’t understand why cas can be considered annoying at it’s current state.
