Ok gaijin hear me out…
I play ground rb a LOT. I’ve noticed that when I get kills in tanks I get a lot of rp, but when I play with a helicopter I get way less rp than playing in a tank. It doesn’t make sense, for example one of my games in ground rb I got two kills in a tank which resulted in roughly 2-4,000 rp. In the same battle I got two more kills with my helicopter which resulted in 1200 or so rp. That’s not fair especially since the only way you can play with helis is either sim or realistic ground. The helicopters should get the same amount as the tanks per kill. Also, same issue when I’m playing with a strike aircraft. I suggest this; if you are playing with a fighter plane/jet keep the rp the same as is, but if you’re playing with a strike aircraft you should be able to get almost as much as you would if you’re in a tank. Multi role aircraft should get a little bit less than strike aircraft.
That’s probably due to activity time, you where likely active for longer to get the kills in the tank which would generate more RP.
Interesting. So if I’m in the plane longer I could get more rp?
Yes, it applies to all game modes except pve iirc
Yeah, you do have to be doing stuff though, you can’t just go AFK and rake in RP, but for example if you fly in get 4 kills and get shot down you will get less RP then if you get 2 kills RTB, rearm repair and return and get 2 more kills.
From what I understand when you destroy or damage enemies you go “active” for a certain amount of time depending on what sort of damage you did. How much time you spend in that state has a large influence on the RP you gain at the end of the match.
helpful tip: If you die in a vehicle and respawn it with a backup, doesn’t reset your activity time so you keep earning RP like you never died.
At least that how I think it works… it’s one of those things that is never really explained proberly.
