Ground Arcade air attacks

In an arcade ground battle with vehicle ranges from BR 2.0-3.0, how does a player get an air attack using a J2M2 which is BR 5.3?

I was in an SM.91 which, at 3.7 is already above the BR range of the battle. But getting a J2M2 does not seem like a reasonable random assignment, considering the BR range of the battle.

My SM.91 never stood a chance, considering the ridiculous way fighters spawn right behind bombers.

Got a server replay of that happening?

Not a new problem here and still no resolve.

Even in the 6.3 / 7.7 BR bracket you can encounter A-10 or Buccaneer (10.7).

no. But I have a screen-shot of the battle log which describes my plane and the one that shot me down.
(not sure how to post images)

The range of random air vehicles assigned should be a lot closer to the BR of the battle. That J2M2 with 2x 20mm cannons can easily wreck most of the ground vehicles in the 2.0 - 3.0 BR range.

It makes no sense.

Japanese 20mm have penetration of 26mm at 0 range.

You’ve got multiple aircraft with much better performing .50 or 12.7mm AP belts that get 30-34mm penetration at 0 range and maintain better penetration out to 500m + and at 2.3 and lower.

Usually with more guns and better rof too.

Singling the J2M2 as being some sort of major threat to ground is meaningless.

And remains hearsay without a server replay.

OK bud. Thanks for your opinion.

Happened again.

Arcade battle BR range 2.3-3.3 and a F6F-5N (BR 5.0 in arcade) destroyed my panzer 4 F2.

What the hell Gaijin?!?

And … happened again.

White Rock Map.
My Israel 6.3 lineup which relies on the 4.3 TCM got stuck with a 7.3 full uptier - AGAIN.

Enemy gets an air attack, and is randomly assigned … a 9.0 BR Canberra.

It’s so ridiculous that a player can be assigned an air unit - in Ground Arcade - that is more than a full BR above the top tank in the battle. WHY?!?

The air attacks are strange. I remember fighting helicopters and A-10s at 6.7
It must be a sort of balance, as these aircraft are much slower and easier to kill. The randomly assigned planes may be balanced mostly by speed since aircraft get the aim reticle at about 2.5km (could be wrong). Whatever it is, aircraft for ground arcade are strangely balanced.

It is most probably an implemented thing to shorten matches and give easy kills to the players that are struggling to do anything. You know how it is these days every ones gets a medal and a certificate for taking part and everybody is a winner, with the actual winners often being sidelined and relegated to the shadows.
It makes no sense at all, it appears random but I do strongly suspect that there is some motive by Gaijin to make things worse for the players as that seems to be one of their prime goals, along with rinsing and fleecing the player-base for as much as possible.

Playing my Swedish 4.0 lineup and ended up in a 4.3 battle on Abandoned Factory (UGH)

My third vehicle got taken out with rockets and 20mm cannons by a J2M3.
Death recap show the BR … 6.7 in arcade. SIX POINT SEVEN in a 4.3 battle.
