My suggestion for RNZAF F-16 getting rejected for never being in service: :(
I think it should get a cannon, even if it was ahistorical but that would be okay then I suppose, how stealthy would it be? How many CMs?
did RNZAF F-16 actually exist though?

Yeahhh, we purchased 28 F-16s (A/Bs) brand new from the US/Pakistan. However, about a week before they were to be delivered they were cancelled. They DID however get purchased

well for F-16XL, i could easily find you pictures of it, it flew. but can you find me pictures of a RNZAF F-16?
the difference is, F-16XL from the start is meant to be a non-service jet (ingame). but RNZAF F-16 is implied to be service jet which didnt exist
Yeah, except they were held by Pakistan until they were going to be delivered and such had Pakistani paint jobs.
but they were still under control of Pakistan, with PAF markings and since deal didnt go through, they were used by PAF pilots. so is it really a RNZAF jet?

Yes it was, considering we did purchase them and even have serial numbers (NZ6521 for example was an F-16A-15AM). It’s a hell of a lot more than what the F-16AJ and Yak-141 was at any rate. But yk, since they’d go to Britain Gaijin didn’t want that.

Yak-141 at least flew. no RNZAF operated F-16 ever flew.
and to be honest. unless the serial number is actually on the jet. it doesnt really mean anything. if USAF gives russia a couple hundred million and assigned an Su-57 a USAF serial number (but never operated the Su-57) does that make it a USAF jet?
If Russia agrees to the deal then yes, I believe it does. If I go on trade me (or whatever you use there) and purchase something, is it still theirs until I pick it up? Even though I paid for it?

I don’t remember exactly I’m only going off of recollection you might be right, but at the time Britain’s best fighter was the Phantom FGR.2, and Japan’s was the F-4EJ Kai, in my logic that should have let it at least be a suggestion considering they got the made up F-16AJ. Now I could see why they reject it but I wish they would still add it, there’s only 2 New Zealand vehicles atm.

Tornado F.3 is a sidegrade to the FGR.2

When it was added it was more than useless, and it’s still underperforming afaik.
