I am working on spading the E. The problem is getting research to do so and not GEing everything because when you average 1 kill every few matches(like one every 3 or more) it is very hard to do so. Anyways I gotta go sleep now.
This is the same for all unfortunately.
Try this:
When you spawn in, turn left, and side climb to 10-15k ft (In the Typhoon I recommend higher, but I think a more conservative alt will best benefit the Gripen E, but you oculd try higher)
Once you are up to alt, flank left, using the Gimballed radar to search for targets, avoid actually heading towards the furball and instead fly parallel to it. This will keep you out of the main focus of enemy targets.
Look for people flanking, and if there is none, look for anyone isolated after the main furball has occured. A more defensive playstyle may suite you more.
The key with AMRAAMs, is to fire as fast as you can and ideally reasonably high, you can negate some of their short comings doing this. When you fire, immediately begin turning cold and into the notch, keep the target in the radars FoR though. Try and avoid firing Aim-120C5s past 20 or so Km
If you need to defend, by extremely generous with your chaff usage.
Everyday this forum turns more and more into slopcity
You could argue it’s better than the 14.3 J-10C, and I highly doubt it’s only on par with every other 13.7.
i was thinking about arguing on this thread, but now that i think, its better for me not to lose braincells to stupid comments.
Absolutely not! typhoon performs so well
We love compression only vehicles that are 14.3 performance worthy are the EFT/RAFALE/SU-30 and gaijin in their infinite wisdom decided instead of extending the BR’s to 15.0 and moving all the old 14.3 jets up by one and the new old 14.3’s to 15.0 they decided muh que times were more important lol
Nice
dont bother, C5s are the worst missile ive ever had the misfortune to use. Stick with RB99s, fly at 6-7km altitude and fire them from Mach 1.2-1.3 at targets within 30-20km range, closer the better but also more dangerous. Play defensive and then turn in. Sometimes youll get ooga booga’d by typhoons or rafales other times youll be the one doing the ooga booga.
What ive noticed in regards to 9Ms is that compared to GRB, in ARB even at the same distance and under the same release parameters they perform abysmally. Not exclusive to 9Ms btw, same could be said about Archers and AAM3s. They just feel like they overcorrect a lot and then fail to turn in afterwards.
In any case, 7 Rb99s and 2 AIM9Ms are very good, along with gripen Es FM and the metric shitton of chaff and flares and the incredible AESA radar, im more surprised its not 14.3
absolutely not! It’s already better than a couple of 14.3. It’s undertiered at 14.0.
Maybe spade the thing first before asking for it to be lowered in BR lol.
F2 has 4 fox3 at 13.7 and you want the gripen e to go to the same br? It’s not as good as 14.3 but better than 13.7. Plus the f15ge and f18e are not as good as rafale and su30sm2 but its still 14.3. I find it funny a gripen e can kill an f14 tomcat.
The Gripen literally has double the CM count…that is my only point in this regard
Agreed always found the placement of 14.0 strange, when planes like the F-15GE exists
Or the Super Hornet and J-10C, which are both arguably worse than the Gripen E.
We love compression, did you even think of the Que Times? BVVD would cry if he had to properly decompress the game
yeah, you can’t expect players to wait 10 more seconds to start a game. That would just be evil.
Proceeds to completely break the 10.3-10.7 GRB matchmaker by releasing the BMPTs, meaning you sometimes have to wait like 3-5 minutes for a game to form.
Ngl i was expecting a planned br changes by now im kinda shocked we still haven’t gotten 1 when we have planes like the Su-30sm and SM2 at the same br same thing with the Eurofighters.
We got decomp sorta when the Gripen/su27/f15 first came in but now we cant do that muh que times would suffer
10 more? With air? Maybe .2 seconds this isn’t naval where finding a match can take 10 sec to 30 minutes
