The Gripen E while yes it is a monster in ground is near useless in air realistic. It gets up to 7 aim-120s which are easily notched or just miss for no reason. Unless this thing gets Aim-120C-7s(which I know gaijin won’t give it), it needs to be lowered to 13.7 in air rb. I have played so far 11 matches with 10 deaths to 3 kills. 2 deaths have been to packet loss. The 3 kills have been the few times a 120 would actually hit(fired off 70 in total so far and got 3 hits. Yes I GE’d the 120s because I am not stock grinding with only 4 useless missiles). The aim-9ms are subpar and have a tendency to miss except when it locks a teammate from what I noticed, same thing with the 120s. The Gripen E needs 13.7 in air rb or 120C-7s because right now the 120C-5s and As/Bs(whatever the 99s are) aren’t cutting it. You can disagree all you want but unless you have played this suffering machine you won’t know what it is like. Also you can check my stats with the darn thing and see for yourself how bad the K/D is. At my current rate of research gain, I would have to play over 300 matches to max out my Gripen E.
Or they could buff AMRAAM, AMRAAM is not in a healthy place for anyone currently, only a few aircraft can get meaningful value out of them such as the Typhoon and F-15 that can fire high and fast.

Aim-9Ms have been extremely tempromental for the past few months but have gone into overdrive since the last major update. I have a had a number of textbook shots just bug out. Gunjob is investigating.

It won’t destroy everything as anything with a different missile(besides AIM-7s) can literally just destroy it at range
Sure move it 13.7 but also move golden eagle, super hornet and what ever else is struggling atm
They will never buff the Aim-120, we already know this. AIM-9s in general have been temperamental from what I noticed. My 9Ms keep acting like old 9Ls and my 9Ls on my Ja-37DI were acting like 9Ms.

It has an incredibly capable defensive suite, it beats out several 14.3 aircraft such as the Typhoon.
The hornet I can agree with going to 14.0 at minimum because let’s be honest no hornet is 14.3 material with that performance unless they get a missile buff(which won’t happen)
and I have experienced the same, should every Aim-9M carrier drop 0.3 BR as a result of what is clearly very very buggy behaviour?
If I can get into a close range engagement maybe, I am being nuked by Su-30SM2s and J-10s consistently.
9ms exist at 13.0 you do realize. They aren’t as difficult to deal with as you think.

Yes but a 14.3 at 14.0 with missiles that are horrible? 70 missiles for 3 kills? Does that seem like a natural thing for you because I can assure you irl a 120 would not miss 67 times out of 70. In war thunder due to the way the 120 behaves it is worse than a 77-1, Mica, and other contemporary missiles at the moment.
Why 14.0 and not 13.7 like you want with gripen E. Its has worst flight model, no gimble radar, low speed and less counter measures. It literally worse than Gripen E

Yes and due to gaijin who will most likely never fix it(because it isn’t Russian) we will continue to suffer

Aim-9Ms have always been rather niche, requiring the right set up to get meaningful value out of them.
I have previously gotten very good success using the Aim-9M on aircraft such as the Tornado Gr4 and Harrier Gr7, but in the past few months, and especialy in the past few weeks, I have had a number fail spectacuarly

Whilst Im on the fence whether I consider them true equals to the Magic II and R-73, and I do think they could do with a buff (several appropriates accepted 2+ years ago) their current performance in recent weeks has been an anomaly and not what I would consider standard for the missile. The IRCCM has been especially unreliable and the missile guidance has been equally buggy. I shall give the devs 2-3 weeks after returning for their anual holiday (which they should be soon™) before I start to form an opinion further on this matter

Have you tried 9Ls lately. Been seeing them ignore flares like a R73 over the past few days when I was grinding with my premium viggen. One example an F-18 flare dumped and turned and the 9L still killed him.
