Italy has the EFT, they dont lack a 4.5 gen equivalent like Japan does. Additionally brazil shouldn’t become a sub of Italy it makes no sense.

im pretty sure italy has some brazilian vehicles already, so they’re the prime canidate to get future brazilian stuff
They have Brazilian vehicles because they’re either Italian vehicles originally or were co developers. Im talking about the ghibli here since i dont remember other Brazilian vehicles but that logic that they would get Brazilian vehicles as a new addition makes about as much sense as the Netherlands being a swedish subtree. Its doesn’t make sense because thats not how it works.
Additionally Italy has a full 5 line air tree they dont need a new sub nation, Hungary and Romania fill up everything they need. Sweden still lacks a 5th line even with a sub tree. (Not saying Brazil for sweden, makes no sense either. Brazil for a latin america tt makes far more sense.)

Romania has only the OSA in the tech tree. If Romania was implemented, we would have the Abrams
It had a better engine, if it didn’t, it was supposed to, and the HMD, I guess ARH missiles were added a bit later than I remember, I always remembered them being added before the JAS39C for Sweden for some reason.

arent you confusing that with the ARH beta test? SA Gripen got to participate with darters in that one but no swedish planes.

theres single brazilian aircraft in the game, AMX, a plane they codeveloped with Italy.
brazilian AMX is in the same situation as F-14 IRIAF and Kfir C10.

That’s Hungary, genius. While I too hate the Dictate of Trianon, unfortunately Romania exists outside of Hungary. The Romanian “tech tree” has a bunch of prop plane premiums, the OSA, and the MiG 29 Sniper premium.
Wow, a couple of useless props, event vehicles no one can get, a copy and paste jet with zero differences from the tech tree MiG 29, and a terrible SPAA. Wowzers.
You can say useless all you want but they have their place in the TT as vehicles that effectively bolster the existing lineups. Or fill mssing gaps, Romania does exactly what it needs to to get Italy into a better spot and im perfectly fine with its implementation, its no different from many other similar premium tree additions like Denmark and India.

Okay, and? Russia gets best CAS and had the best SPAA for two years (and the Pantsir still holds up). Sweden has arguably the best Leopard, while also getting “Russian bias” T-80s, making it a very versatile nation for ground. Just because Italy has one good tank, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t get another. If Romania is actually in Italy, they should get the Abrams.
You’ll have to fight the US players on that end, personally id rather the Ariete get their armor corrected since its long overdue alongside side their Barrel fired drones as a unique ability but thats on gaijin.
You’re expecting Gaijin to fix a minor nation. Good luck, they still refuse to move the OTOMATIC down because “Italy needs a top tier loadout” but refuses to put in anything Italy or Hungary uses.
Hungary doesn’t have anything for that area though
Italy doesn’t just need top tier, thats a very one sided view, they need more vehicles going from 7.x and up in general. As for the Otomatic, its too effective as a TD, you want it to go down then stop playing it as a TD, its the same problem with the Falcon and other SPAA even the Kugelblitz is the same way, their anti air abilities are hampered by the fact that people continue to play them as a TD.
Regardless the BR’s are clearly far too compressed and top tier needs decompression a lot which would help it a bit. Additionally Italy is set to get a new SPAA sometime before the end of the year, i believe BVVD stated next patch. It doesn’t fix the Oto being over BR’d but it will hopefully give them a better SPAA than the Osa and Oto.
