Hello everyone :), what I would like to introduce today is Grey Wolf Missile weapon system.
The Grey Wolf Missile Weapon System is a modular high mobility anti tank missile carrier vehicle that made its debut at the Zhuhai Air Show in 2018. It uses a four-wheel all terrain vehicle as its chassis, with extremely strong maneuverability, which can quickly attack armored units and then return to a safe area, and has certain reconnaissance and harassment functions. Due to its weight of only 350kg, the vehicle can be easily transported by various platforms and airdropped to the required combat area.
The system uses modular devices. The launch pad can be dismantled and installed on other platforms.Dongfeng Mengshi armored vehicles, other all terrain vehicles, and even helicopters can be carried and used. The basic model uses a four-wheel all terrain motorcycle, which can carry two members. The launch pad is equipped with one launched missile, and the front bracket of the vehicle can store two missiles.
The missile uses the TL-4 ground to ground anti tank missile, which is a “launch after launch” missile. The guidance head uses uncooled infrared/television image guidance, and the shooter can correct the missile’s trajectory through a data link. There is a remote control handle installed on the launch pad, which controls the missile in the human loop through a wireless bidirectional data link, with excellent anti-interference performance. The missile has a maximum range of 6km and can attack ground to air helicopters and armored units.
The basic all terrain vehicle chassis is manufactured by Yuedi Company and uses a V-shaped dual cylinder electronic fuel injection engine. It can reach a maximum speed of 120km/h on the road and supports wheel to track rotation. The driving mode is two wheel drive shaft transmission, with a maximum horsepower of 57hp, and all four wheels have independent suspension. When driving at full speed, the braking distance is 7 meters.
This car is mainly used for foreign trade. With extremely low cost and high mobility, helicopters can be used to lift multiple vehicles for a single attack to launch attacks on enemy armored clusters, and optical and electrical equipment can be installed to achieve better reconnaissance results. But in the end, the car did not receive an order and gradually faded out of sight.
The Grey Wolf Missile Weapon System is a highly maneuverable, ultra light anti armor combat vehicle capable of fighting in complex terrains and firing missiles. Although the maximum ammunition capacity is only 3, it can rely on its strong mobility to quickly move to the rear of the theater for supply after attacking enemy armored units. Missiles can be launched and have the ability to attack low altitude helicopters. But this car has no protection, only two members of the team are exposed, and any injury is fatal.
