obv yes it makes sense for it to be in a greco iberian tt but we know gaijan would never do that so, it would literally make sense for it to be in US or german TT than israeli, if your going by equipment, they dont have anything to do with israel other than that lmao, it makes most sense for (Turkey, Greece, Cyprus) to be into one TT just them alone, they literally have so much history together whether bad or not.

As a Greek myself, I think that this addition to Israel as a sub-tree is perfectly fine.
We not only cooperate militarily with Israel but also economically and in intelligence.
Not to mention the huge uproar in Greek Defense Industry with the help of Israeli companies (which have also acquired ELBO now), they have time upon time provided us with upgrades for the M113 to name an example while even making an upgrade as a project for us to offer.
Your statement with the whole ‘‘not to be placed under another nation’s flag’’ makes absolutely no sense… why? because you’re literally saying add us in another TT, that makes that whole ‘‘argument’’ (if you can even call that) not even legitimate. Lastly, adding us to Russia? Have you not seen that the Greek approval for Russia is super low, our approval of Israel is a LOT higher which is not hard to research either…
We also do not have anything near a tech tree on our own, while I favoured the Greco-Iberian TT, this is completely fine and puts us in the spotlight with representation and that is very much welcome.
My tip is to stop complaining about something that is fine and lighten up friend, me along with many of my friends are supper happy about it! ♥
P.S Gaijin please implement my M1114GR Kornet modification, Kerveros & Leopard 2A4GR ASPIS-NG with the sub-tree if you’re reading this ;P

Ah yes, lets make an entirely own tech tree for like 10 vehicles, great idea, how about we also make an own tech tree for the 2 or 3 Polish tanks we have in game. Greece is not big enough to be anything other than a subtree, the same goes for Cyprus, gaijin might aswell just ignore you completely and never add any greek stuff in the future.
Having Greek and Cyprus under Israel is as of right now the most logical solution for both game balancing but also economical. Israel gets some somewhat needed reinforcements to their lineups and you get your country represented without it being locked behind any paywall or events or such.

Who said gaijin would add every single vehicle, realistically gaijin would add like 10 to 15 ground vehicles and thats it. The point is, Greece and Cyprus have by far not enough vehicles to ever be its own tech tree.

Common sense and past examples, every single subtree in the game is under-represented as of October 2025, there is a 0% chance that gaijin would ever go to the lengths of individually modelling enough Greek vehicles to make up a tech tree smaller than Israel.
The ‘Greco-Iberian’ tree is inplausible unless people want to play an entire tree of copy paste, oh wait, people already do nothing but complain about Israel being ‘copy paste’ when it still has far more unique vehicles than anything Greece, Spain and Portugal can muster up

As a Greek player i would prefer to be subtree to a new Turkish tree, since they ruled Greece and Cyprus for 400 years it seems more reasonable to me.

My issue is that Greece doesn’t really have anything to do with Israel. India - could at least be explained as being a former colony of Great Britain, etc, etc. What do we have here? A Greek person once holidayed in Israel? We going back to Alexander the Great’s conquests?
They’ve had decent military cooperation in the last few years. (SOFA). The other reason is that they’re close geographically.

Fair enough. And yeah. I have nothing against Greece, and I live in the city with the biggest Greek community outside of Greece, and all that good stuff - but I think they’re simply going to lead to more Leopard 2 spam in yet another tree. I’d put Greece far behind other more deserving nations for this game.
