Just talking strictly about the F4E AUP here, and I guess the F4E Terminator 2020 by extention. (Sorry don’t post here very often).
Greece has somewhat of a history in game, as deos Turkey. Dispite having unique vehicles. (M60 AMBT comes to mind), they have gone to the nation that made the chassis base. Greek AH-64A replaced the premium Israeli AH-64A in the US tree, and the M60 AMBT is again in the US tree.
Knowing gaijin they are going to keep trickling down vehicles, until a more fitting home is implemented but as of right now. I have a feeling if more Greek and Turkish vehicles are added they will be either Event, Premium, or Squadron vehicles. Not like the AUP is adding much to a tree with one of the best cas setups in game, same with the Terminator.
The AMRAAM capability of the AUP is going to make who ever receives it have basically a F4F ICE with better A-G. And knowing Gaijin it is probably going to have way to high a BR for its flight performance to matter because Aim-120Bs*.
The Terminator is a little better off, being basically a Turkish Kurnass 2K, that once upon a time used Aim-7s. It’s heavily focused on A-G, with A-A being secondary. Other then a pair of yet to be implemented Popeyes, its going to be a slightly better Kurnass 2K. Personally Israel deosn’t need anthor Kurnass 2K, they have thier own sans Aim-7s but people typically run the forward bay Pythons which block Sparrows anyway.
Sorry for a bit of a rant, just my thoughts. Disagree agree with me I don’t care this is just my 2 cents.
yes but they need 4.5 gen aircraft they are the only TT without a rank 9 and Greece can cover this, as of Turkey i dont think it will go to Israel because Turkish players don’t want to (correct me if i am wrong )
The F4E Terminator 2020 dispite it’s name is not a 4.5 gen aircraft.
Edit: Neither is the AUP, they are heavily upgraded Phantoms.

Then why even talk to me? Personally I try to aviod top tier because it isn’t as fun as Fox 1s and 2s. Modernized Gen 3s like the ICE and AUP are pushing it but unless Gaijin just hates that vehicle(s) for whatever reason a F4E Terminator and AUP should not be faceing E2Ks, F-16Is, F-15EXs, etcs. I made it pretty clear I was not talking about the most modern tech.

@Smin1080p_WT any chances we will get some Greece or Cyprus additions next update? Looking forward to some fillers for Israel TT. And it’s probably to early to ask this but ya never know🙏 (probably will be later in the year)
its a national holiday in Greece, so it would be perfect to say same think today

Would be very cool. I sadly feel though that they probably won’t cause it is gaijin after all. I’m very happy though that they are talking for the additions of adding them. And people can be mad that it is being added to Israel but they do have joint military operations together and strong ties. Plus gaijin added the addition to change flags for nation representation. (I personally would have liked chile to be added instead) but I’m not complaining as like I said, I will love any addition/fillers for Israel as it’s my favorite tt.

yea but its just a proposal for the Greek army it never get tested by the Greek side as far as i know, it is just a proposal for an IFV the same with the kf-41 so Greece cant take it, but it would be a cool addition in France
An actual working and close relationship between each other that lasted for a long time. Chile and Israel having strong ties with each other since when Pinochet got into power in 1973 and lasted since. This further manifested in the Chilean and Israeli Military Industrial complexes working with each other and a lot of Chile’s weapons are modified with the help of Israeli expertise. Also Chile will greatly improve the variety of vehicles in the Israeli TT that they have some connection to which a Hellenic subtree fails to deliver. The last thing Israel needs is bloating the TT with another 500 M48 & F-16 variants that are purely copy n paste.
In contrast. Even though there is a connection between Greece and Israel, It is A: a more recent development and B: there is only very few vehicles that were upgraded by Israeli expertise and/or use Israeli weapons/weapon systems. Mainly due to prior to this development Israel’s preferred partner in the Eastern Mediterranean region is Turkey. Which their relationship soured though greatly is a recent development. Azerbaijan is the other close partner of Israel and unlike Turkey they still maintain a close relationship. Greece still not only overwhelmingly use weapons of Austrian, Spanish, French, German, American and even of Dutch & Polish origin than of Israeli origin. Add Yugoslavia and the USSR for Cyprus as well.
Yes they have no love for the Iranians or the Turks that doesn’t mean they’ll automatically side with Israel, this is shown by the fact that they’ll prefer to side with the French over the Israeli’s for their defense.
As i alluded too even if you take Geography into consideration Israel even has better options to choose from than Greece and Cyprus mainly in the form of Azerbaijan. So even the geography excuse which is already stupid to begin with doesn’t even hold much water.

imo the only Greek vehicles Israel should get are the ones they got involved in, same for other nations stuff like the Sabrah light tank. It does not take much to see that Israel did not contribute as much as other countries (like Germany or France for example) with vehicles due to Israel doing that only more so recently with Greece.

France doesn’t need another subtree
Greece and Cyprus are closer geographically than Azerbaijan to Israel
That is not what he is saying…
Otherwise, Greece should either not be a tree at all and be scattered in other tree they have link to or be in something like Turkey/Greece/Spain tree ~
