Just look up what Israel has made in terms of aerospace and air combat… might surprise you.

All have superior EW/ECM suites and domestic weaponry, that’s about as different to the original operator as you can get without a domestic airframe, remember Israel is the only customer of F-35 who has modified it

F-35I modified version with Israeli avionics. F-16s with Israeli avionics, TGP, Missiles, radar all made in Israel or in cooperation with US. Same for the others.

Honestly haven’t seen any Greeks complain. They’re a vocal bunch, if they didn’t like it people would know.
But as a Cypriot, I don’t like Cyprus → Israel, can’t speak on Greece → Israel though.

Honestly as much as I like playing Israel I think Greece should be added elsewhere. I mean I won’t complain if Greece becomes a sub-tech tree of Israel however I think adding Greece to Italy would make more sense given Greece and Italy have a few thousand year relationship.
I think Chile would make sense as a sub-tech tree to Israel instead of Greece. Regardless of what gets added I just want the Israeli tech tree to get filled out more because there are way too many br gaps.
I always thought Greece should’ve been in some form if Greco-Iberian tree.
At the very least the Israeli tree is very small so hopefully the unique Greek and Cypriot vehicles will be added.

It may not be my place to comment on this matter but I think that Greek vehicles, since they don’t make sense to be an independent tree by themselves should either become part of the Israel tech tree OR they should get added to some iteration of a Balkan tech tree (including Yugoslav, Ex Yugoslav, Bulgarian and Romanian vehicles) in order to provide extra girth to it’s low, mid and high tier composition, because as it stands some Greek low tier vehicles will get excluded when there are places in which they’d be more useful.
