Anyway, but surprised they get the Greece vehicles in Israel. Smin uses the geographical card, but they aren’t really neighbors anyway. Turkey would have made more sense for Israel imho.

And I guess close military relations, but they aren’t nearly as close as Chile or Colombia. Or even Azerbaijan.
Would make sense if Turkey didn’t have the capability to be larger than the Israeli tree and wouldn’t have nearly as much copy and paste.

Would still have some copy paste as a standalone. With Israel it could have been a very unique tech tree imo.

I think Turkey + SK would’ve been better. Or just Turkey standalone. It will always have C&P but if it went with Israel then Israel would just dilute it.
*AND Israel has better options.

An Iberian TT could still probably be standalone, but without Greece… it was a missed opportunity, the Greeks are being put where they don’t belong.

While the justification for Greece in Israel is kinda whatever, its not as outrageous as Singapore in China or some other subtree decisions.
Will it make Israel pure copypaste slop? Undeniably. But i personally dont think is as bad decision as to warrant a protest.

First of all, in my opinion “israel” should be a US subtree
And i dont see the point of giving them to the “israeli” TT, its so random. I refuse to play israel, like a lot of other players, and the fact that Greece is locked in this TT is just absurd

Especially considering that there are way better options for subtrees for Israel that address the most glaring issues with that TT (Azerbaijan, Chile are the two that comes up in mind). Greece & Cyprus flat out will not cut it if anything it would make some of the Issues with the Israeli TT even worse. On top of that their arguments are either very weak, non arguments to begin with (The whole “MuH gEoGrApHiC pRoXiMiTy” argument really needs to die) or can be use against in the sense that you can make case arguments to justify Greece & Cyprus to be a subtrees for other nations aside from Israel; In particular, France, Germany or even Italy.

France has Netherlands, Germany has Swiss and an already big TT, Italy has Romania and Hungry, I would love to see Greece in the Greco-Iberian TT but I am not mad going to Israel, Greece and Israel have economic and military ties between them (and Cyprus) now because you don’t want to play the Israel TT for political reasons it’s your problem I will do the same when turkey will join the game I will not play it but I will not complain if an ally of turkey join as a subtree
