I wasn’t talking about contribution, I was talking about countering enemies.
Where was it mentioned at all though, as me and the other poster are calling you out directly on.

Me: “At some tiers/nations SPAAs won’t solve the issue.”
Other guy: “Then spawn a fighter”
Me: "Let me quickly get top tier air in USA, Germany, USSR, Sweden and Italy.
I’m sure this won’t take me thousands of hours and cost tens of millions of RP and SL, grinding something I don’t enjoy. Clearly not a solution.
Other guy: “You don’t need to be top tier. A bi plane can shoot down a chopper”.
You see, all of this started when I said that, at some tiers, SPAAs are simply underpowered and aren’t a real counter to CAS. I was looking for a better countering vehicle, not a better contributor.
Then this dude came in saying what he said, basically implying biplanes are a better counter to CAS than some higher tier SPAAs, which is ridiculous.
There is nothing wrong with what he said, and the videos prove them right…
And they didn’t imply that they were better, they just said they can, if your quoting is accurate…

There are videos of Reserve tier tanks destroying top tier ones, but I doubt that’s a proof Reserve tier tanks come even close to being as effective and viable at doing that task as other top tier tanks. This is pretty simple.
I was trying to find something that’s better than SPAAs at countering CAS at certain tiers, then he proceeded to talk about biplanes, literally implying they can do that job better than SPAAs.
Again, I claimed what I claimed and was quite obviously looking for alternative ways that are better at doing the same job.
The issue is that you can’t accept what they’re saying without exageration and mockery to try and get away from the point made…

I was looking for an alternative for SPAAs, then dude proceeded to come in and say something in line with: “Who needs top tier planes, just spawn a biplane and you’ll be just fine”.
That’s like someone’s asking how to counter a top tier vehicle in a more efficient, better way and then he gets a reply: “Spawn reserve tier tank, it can kill”. As you said, it sucks.
How about some vids how to counter CAS with SPAA for the viewers xd

Only thing disingenuous there was implying biplanes can do a better job of countering CAS than SPAAs.
You implied that yourself… It wasn’t put out in the statement that was put forth to you.

I don’t need an official statement signed by country officials to see what he was trying to say.
I was pretty clear in stating that SPAAs can’t do the job effectively, which immediately implies something that can do that job is better at that said job.
Saying that you don’t need top tier planes and that biplanes can kill choppers is a clear implication they are better suited for that job.
I mean, why even try listing something that’s supposedly worse at doing that job, when a person you’re replying to is clearly asking for a better alternative. That’s outright trolling.
The issue is you’re trying to make out they said things, that they didn’t, to further your non-point about the ineffectiveness of something that’s there for that reason…
Hell, you can make it as useless as you want by misusing it, and you can make it more effective than it can be by merely using it smartly.
It’s not that hard to point out the reasons for not trusting the stats or the status quo that you understand it to be…

You’re only able to make out it says what you want it to say, it doesn’t mean it actually does…
From the ‘better’ to ‘as capable’ from the ‘can’ is an indication of you trying to move those goalposts…
Saying that you don’t need top tier planes and biplanes will suffice is clearly an act of mockery.
I’m an ESL so I’ll tend to use various words that have the same meaning for me.
When you die to CAS in GRB how many times do you see 3 or 4 AA on the map that is either AFK or wanting to be tank destroyers?
Also, how many of the players that complain about CAS in GRB does not have a single AA in their line-up or have not ever researched a single AA vehicle?
Or my favorite - “My radar didn’t see it.” Fast moving specs in the air are still fast moving specs in the air, maybe try looking around.
The way I see it - let CAS be CAS till players learn to use AA effectively.
