I feel you man, the game is just rotten and stale. It’s plagued by too many issues to be enjoyable anymore.

The whole war thunder community with their toxicity just makes it even worse. I often see the worst people on the planet playing this game. It ain’t fun.

Ok bye 😂

You have to wonder how many players are leaving also because Gaijin don’t seem willing to listen to the community over issues that are flagged constantly such as map design, CAS issues, too much uptiering, uneven matchmaking, etc, etc, etc. All of this stuff has been flagged as problematic for players since I started here many years ago but it seems there’s an agenda to frustrate players into “buying” their way to solutions by spending money on Premium vehicles, which rarely (if ever) prove to make the problem go away.

yeah it’s only getting worse as they get greedier and greedier they lose more and more of what made the original game fun, it’s all just unfinished, unbalanced, top tier slop. zero new games modes or fixes to existing ones FOR YEARS just unsuccessful shoehorning stuff into existing modes breaking them even more. I remember when the premium f86 was added after they broke that promise it was a matter of time.

Don’t announce your departure. Just go.

Like with WoT. I played that game religiously starting in it’s closed beta in 2010, and one day I just stopped. No post. No whining. I just moved on to better pastures.

It definitely doesn’t seem to be getting better so I can’t blame you. My playtime dove off a cliff since the annoucement of the M1A2T. Took two weeks off, giving up my 960 day log-in streak. I picked a few other games back up, like Star Citizen, and have been far happier with my free time. IAE around the corner and its been a blast. It’s a shame. The core idea of War Thunder is great but the people running the ship don’t seem to have player concerns in mind. What can you do besides move on.

Good bye.
Leaving a game on incomplete information about a game is a decision you’re allowed to make.

I’m personally glad War Thunder left its arcade roots, and became more player friendly than their start; but those 2013 - 2016 memories are still there.

War Thunder isn’t a greedy game, unlike Star Citizen.

you right, this game is just one-death leavers. The game quality is dead.

bro justify a 70 dollar premium rn, I love the game but don’t lie lmao the greed is very real. I could list op premiums all day long (remember the is7 armor “bug”). but yeah star citizen is just insane.

The IS-7 never had an armor bug.
Merkava Mk4 LIC and IS-6 had the armor bugs, both of which were fixed within 1 major update of being accepted as a bug report.

As for the $35 premiums that are $70 the rest of the year… this genre is known for its expensive modules.
DCS is $40 that are $80 the rest of the year.
Train sims are hundreds of modules of $10 - $50.
And War Thunder gives us over 2000 vehicles in an unlockable form factor in this highly expensive to develop genre of games.

Per vehicle, War Thunder is the cheapest, and it’s not marginally cheaper, it’s over 80% cheaper.
That’s why War Thunder has the playerbase it does. It wouldn’t have anywhere close to the playerbase it does if it was “as greedy” as the competition.

see you next week

sorry is6*, and no it was bugged with additional armor behind the gunner sight for literal years…

also wtf are you even talking about on pricing there tbh please don’t overdose on the copium, and comparing DCS to warthunder is laughable, in fact I am laughing. War thunder has the player base it does because it’s NOT like those games and is available on pretty much everything as well as able to run on a potato.
