Those people get punished for sabotage and are by far in the minority.
I have never seen a player call artillery on their own team on purpose.
Anyway, we will never agree on this so there is no point continuing this argument.
Of all the 14k hours i have in this game, I have never experienced or seen this at all.

Intentionally damaging your teammates is against the rules. You have other ways to repair your teammates, but God Mode chasers can’t do that achievement without damaging their team in vast majority of cases.
Most Godmode chasers sit in arcade. You know, the mode you have no experience with at all.
So your judgement seems limited to realistic in this case.
For air RB, the problem can be easily and thoroughly solved by restricting squad composition. So the only potential problem is mixed RB. And here I have not enough experience to say if it is a problem or if the spawn system for air and heli is causing way more issues that can be mistaken as Godmode issues.

As I play all modes, I can tell that in realistic, I hardly ever get killed by anything of low enough rank to even qualify. In arcade this happens frequently both ways. Which is fine with me.
There is really no need for citation. Where is the citation that goodmode is a major issue in the first place? On top, you are blind on the arcade eye, which isn’t my problem.

None of this is my personal opinion.
1.0 tanks simply aren’t made to drive around and fight 12.7 ones, hence the big BR difference between those two groups. You not being able to help out even in a prime position, while also being SP pinata for the enemies (and a ticket bleed for your own team) is a factual problem.
This topic is getting hotter and more conflictive every second it remains open.
Tbh there’s no need of changing God Mode. It’s a hard achievement with a cool reward that can be affected by SL boosters, it’s funny to try to get and u don’t need a L3 to kill a Leopard 2A7V, just bring something mid like ASU-57 or the lowtier german 15cm howitzer (or even better, the Sturmtiger) and have fun, that’s why WT is a game.
