Why this?
Make a point, please?
huh?
TLDR it’s for safety.
Not all bombs or aircraft’s are the same, so they will likely have different speed limitations.
Because otherwise the Bomb could go up and rip off your Wing, only a few bombs in combination with the right Pylon are cleared for supersonic drop
Because of things like this:
Every munition and every plane has it’s own unique limit for speed for the munition separation. It depends on how the munition behaves during different speeds and how the air flows around the plane at different speeds.
Modern munitions often don’t have this issue to the same extent or they use ejector racks to mitigate a lot of the adverse affects. However, when it comes to modern things they almost never give out specific numbers so all that is publicly known is things like “Above Mach 1” which could be anything from Mach 1.1 to the aircrafts own speed limit, there is no way to really know unless they make the numbers public. So Gaijin tends to go a minimum amount above the stated “above” limit until there is info about more exact numbers.
But the Eurofighter, they’ve already accepted that there’s no theoretical limit
Huh? Where?
Paveway 4 , no speed limit for drop
Okay? i fail to see your point.
The thing is, the gaijin have imposed a release speed limit on all aircraft for all bombs, but then, as if by magic, they’ve realised that, for one family of aircraft, the bomb ejectors actually have a purpose after all but the incompetence is such that, on the same aircraft, you have bombs with different release speeds.
I think you’re missing the point I’ve already made:
Since the airflow around an aircraft is different for each design of aircraft AND each munition behaves differently at different speeds then you will have a different separation speed for every munition on the same aircraft AND every aircraft will have it’s own set of release speeds for every munition.
So i don’t really see your point at all here. If they have proof for one set of speeds for one aircraft then that’s what’s going to be in game, if they have no proof of release speeds for a different aircraft then that aircraft will get the default release speeds.
