Why not just use the MiG-23 MLD? The R-24Rs are amazing.

could be better if they fixed the radar, besides MLD is missing its R-73,s and R-24M,s

yeah its radar is also underpeforming, but as know more about the 23, there are things like, missing 2000KGF on the engine. and some the max aoa is nerfed by a little. there is also the magical button/nob that is also used for the kh-23,s can also be used to slave the R-60M,s, and would be like what HMS/HMD in game is

should have worded it has thats whats its missing in general, it should NOT have that in the event mode that would be very broken

and MiG-23MLD doesn’t need either.

What even is “R-24M”.

i think since the phantom has 9Ls means its a late version of the f4e which in theory means it should get the radar upgrades it had irl, which basicaly would mean less ground clutter

Ground clutter filtering is clearly too complex for Gaijin as of now

Maybe we can get a MiG-23MLD “Late” w/ R-73/R-24M to go along with an extremely late F-4E “Late”…
