Give RP/SL for Pinging the Map and if an enemy dies within 15 seconds of the ping within 30 meters

Yes. Any amount of any indication. Like you get with current scouting nets you some reward for spotting an enemy even if nothing happens to it.

If you got points for marking an enemy on the map, but got nl indication you did, and only later if that enemy gets killed in that spot you get points, then maybe im fine with it.

Tho that still encourages spamming the map for points

Yeah i never said anything about a indicator, its the same map ping system. It can even go on a cooldown. Its essentially just give your points for communicating with the team., something people just don’t do.

Score for accurate placement is an indicator and a reason to spam its use

Do you really believe that players will not ping entire map every 15 seconds? (entire map where enemy “can” be).
Colldown will not change it. There are 16 players per team. Now imagine ping on map every 2-3 seconds. Each made by different player.
IMHO really bad idea.

if gaijin can add a chat cooldown, then they can add a ping cooldown.

You still do not understand.
Free RP means all players will spam it. Even if you will have 1 minute cooldown, you will still have 16 pings per minute on map. 1 ping every ~4seconds.

Why would all 16 people ping a spot where theres no one at? If you have 5 people pinging the same spot, what the problem? Even now people can ping the same location. Nothing is changing except people getting points from my idea, its just an incentive for more people to ping the map… unless you like playing in matches where a vast majority of people don’t communicate and are silent and don’t want to help their teammates.? Even now there an option to turn off players ping / radio messages in game, there isn’t any problem with my idea.

You spawn,everyone pings enemy spawn,boom,everyone gets RP right from start. Then people would keep trying to ping spawn to get RP until the end of game.

People don’t even shoot at scouted targets most of the time, I don’t think this will magically create the nirvana of teamwork that you expect.

What it will do is create an endless “attention to the map” overload hell.

Yes, of course, battles where all you can see on chat/map is random ping every 4 seconds will be more templay than what we have now. Please. That will just create new type of annoying players. Next to “attack the D point” spammers you will have “pin map for free RP” clickers.
If you really like to click, jump to hangar and search for bananas :)

Team play outside a communicating squad with a random stranger is very rare - in every shooter game.

Warning friendlies of the presence of enemies nearby is actually in your own interest - either because you can get a shot on a distracted enemy or you keep your team mate alive (so he can help you later and help to win).

So asking for a bonus for a map ping leading to an enemy got killed is on the same level like a fellow player asked a few days ago for a bonus for dodging / notching an enemy missiles - imho you just play the game and act smart - there is no justification for a bonus.

But then it also needs to be random and just not click properly at times like scouting, also just randomly fail for no reason and then you get a cooldown on clicking again because that’s how this game works.

i think a blanket RP increase in ground would dissolve this argument immediately

Beats having the current situation where nobody pings the enemy at all so you get ambushed even when spawning in lol.

WT is supposed to be a teamwork game right? Thing is, you sometimes have to nudge people into teamwork, make it a strict system, overspam of ping means you cant ping anymore. Once a minute, sure, you might get 16 people pinging all the time but the only time its useful (to the pinger for RP points) is if the ping is effectively spot on the enemy tank.

And if the information is useful, it isnt “attack the d point” spam. Theres nothing stopping players just spam pinging the map as is.

Maybe I am tired as a long term veteran in the game being 1 of only maybe 3 people in a team giving information to others.
