People also said Surbaisse, Lorraine, Somua etc. are overtiered as hell but Im currently playing them and theyre likely best 7.7 ive played so far so forgive me if im bit skeptical lol.
If you’re implying that we can’t get anything more advanced than the rounds we currently do in-game because there’s nothing left for the Russians after the 3BM60, then can’t I easily defeat that argument by pointing out what was said earlier in the thread that the SHARD round is similar in performance to DM53, if not maybe a bit worse? And of course, the DM53 is in-game.

Speaking of this what I’d love to see is the Leclerc XLR which should, along with the SHARD, also use a multi purpose round similar to the American one with proxy fuze. That’d give hell to helis.

It’d actually be a tiny bit better, with the conservative estimate being 660mm of penetration.
There’s also the possibility of shard being separated in 2 different variants, since there had been sporadic mentions of mk1 and mk2 variants along with claims of up to 20%, but there’s not much information on that tho

Yes, nothing really changes except the Leclerc gets a more consistent round.

Yeah, you’d be surprised how good it is. BVM is just mediocre now, depending on map it could go above 2A5/6/PSO, but in general they take the win.
No Type 10? Interesting
The Type 10 is insanely overrated, only said to be good because they haven’t played it.

As someone who owns Merkava and Type 10 there is no way in hell that I’m taking the merkava, literally no scenario besides the APS functionality.
Type 10 is also better than the non uparmoured leopards, by a decent margin, and abrams imo, but that one is subjective and on par with Leclerc.
For the trolly armour, mediocre gun handling and botched transmission, you get the best optics and autoloader at the BR, combined with an amazing dart and good overall package (LWS, reverse gearbox, decent amount of smokes, low profile, 50 cal, etc) makes the Type 10 a top 3 MBT, regardless of opinion
Mobility is heavily gimped and ends up worse than competition.
Firepower is heavily limited by BY FAR worst in class gunhandling, elevation angles and lack of readyrack.
Armor is essentially worst in class at toptier.
The only positive of the type 10 is the 4s reload which doesnt give that much of an advantage over 5s if your aim is on point.

I mean, you perform better in Merkava than Type 10.
Type 10’s mobility is terrible, you lose speed faster than a delta wing upon pressing your A or D key.
The elevation and horizontal traverse on the Type 10 is also straight awful.
The armor and survivability also fall very short.
The only thing going for it is the 4s reload.

4s reload and suspension more than make up for gun handling
Armour and transmission are just desperately waiting for a fix
Suspension taking seconds to setup does not have any impact on you not getting gun on target due to the worst in class gunhandling? it is fully unrelated and cannot be used on the move anyway.

For a casual player like myself, i had an easier time with Type 10, the marginally higher K/D in mk4b is due to having CAS assets and good support vehicles, something I didn’t have for japan meaning i was more pressured while playing the tank
