Give all tanks with the 20mm cn20 f2 gun apds

As we all know apcr is garbage what most of you however might not know is that the only ap ammunition for the French cn20 f2 20mm automatic cannon is apcr what I ask is simply to give every vehicle with this gun dm63 20mm apds
And as for why because of shell shatter it can’t even pen a m551 from the front
As the AMX10P already has dm63 with the same gun I see no reason why not to.

Next br all vehicles that use this gun as a secondary weapon are at 8.0 and up but are stuck with garbage apcr all I ask is for apds dm63 that way I can gut the pesky xm800ts and if I’m lucky a bmp tell me what you think
The dm63 can only pen 66mm by the way

First of all… Please format your sentences…

Second of all… The F2 has zero belts that contain only APCR. The default belt doesn’t have APCR at all, and the AMX-10P even has the APDS you describe.

HVAP and APCR are mechanically the same just different calibres i believe

Every amx 30 has one as a secondary weapon and only gets apcr he apcr he same with the amx 32 and with the amx 40 at 10.0 with apcr

Could be a decision made for balancing, like the 30mm on the T-72M2 Moderna, its the same gun as on the BMP-2, but that can only use a AP/HEF-I belt, while the BMP-2 has APDS 2 full BRs lower (It could also theoretically use the APFSDS the BMP-2M has, but the Moderna was a 1992 project and the 3UBR11was developed around 2010).

yes, but the F2 is chambered for 20x139mm so it can use the same belts as RH-202, HS820, KAD a/b etc.

They cant complain, they also have un-historical (but theoretically usable) DM-63 ammo.

…so… why ask for APDS to destroy those with 10mm thick armor. Maybe ask for APHE shots?

Also, let’s go several steps further and give DM63 to the Marder A1-, the R3-T20 (same gun dimensions so round technically does fit), and every other platform currently stuck with the worthless APCR rounds on that gun. The postpen is so comically bad that even IF you pen something you can hardly ever finish it off.

They can given France had its own APDS (OPTSOC), Gaijin just forgot and it was easier to just copy paste

Fun fact - the Falcon’s APDS has incorrectly low pen and velocity. It has longer barrels than the Fox, and apparently should punch up to 145mm.

I would also want to see the Turm III’s coax given this APDS round to both watch the forums burn and also to punt that thing up. It’s so much better than standard Leos its not even a joke at this point.

I think Gaijin is afraid of giving mbt with 20mm autocannon apds or apdsfs, since then they would do gun and track torture much easier, but then they kinda nerf autocannon damage toward barrel so it just another gaijin inconsistency.
