Give ability to authorize on CIS forum using Gaijin account

Until when? It’s completely unclear to what extent dividing process can go. And alas we can’t just trust the word of the developer or especially third-party companies one way or another still connected with Gaijin. At least I personally deeply convinced of this (and this opinion didn’t appear out of the blue, ahem). What happens after this “migration” in a week? Month?.. Year? How can you be sure that servers will remain in the same state? Nah, one day I’d still like to leave this game without anyone’s help and preferably without feeling regret huh.

P.S.: At least just give us a little nook yah. Can hardly ask for more.

How many time I need to repeat same info? :(
You are all playing War Thunder - same game you played few days ago. There will be no split between regular War Thunder game you play now and some made up “different” War Thunder you think there is (or will be).
Account migration do not change the fact, that you are playing (and will play) on same servers as earlier.

Okay so why we can’t enter Ru forum?
Eng forum isn’t seems cool to us. I don’t think that if they would do something like that to you and create another forum with no ability to enter it without migration would sound cool for you. Especially if you can’t migrate cuz you are living beside of CIS or any other regions

Since I’ve been told to repost this here:

So as of today, CIS players still have access to the Marketplace, but have to go through https://trade.pixstorm.ru/ now. And players without CIS accounts can’t go there. This is similar to the splits in store-front and forum-posting that also took effect today, as well as the removal of Steam login as an option in the CIS for PC.

On the other side, the currency is no longer GJN, but PIX, in line with the new CIS publisher PixelStorm. It’s believed players on the CIS side will get their GJN converted on a 1:1 basis to PIX, starting today. This is a little different from what we were originally told (well, Russian-speaking players were told) that the single unified Marketplace would remain.

So my question would be, because no one can see the other side any longer to keep a check, is there going to be any guarantee coming from Gaijin that the 1:1 pegging of GJN to the new Pixels will stay the same? Given that Pixels would have to be refreshed with rubles, that could be hard to maintain, but otherwise there would seem to be a significant risk of loss of market trading information down the road here that impacts players using either market interface.

I mean, it’s not exactly nothing to withhold info like this. When the announcement of the publisher switch was put out in Russian-language social media and not all the other countries earlier this month, everyone saw the GJN value of their marketplace coupon holdings crash about 25% as people dumped theirs on the market after that news, and wouldn’t have known why without access to info on the Russian side.

(And since I came back here, I’ll re-ask the question I asked here earlier… does this have anything to do with squadron research rewards being suspended since the 28th?)

But there will already be a division of events. For example, migrated players will not be able to receive bonuses through links from streamers, registration links, or participate in events (dakimatures, stickers like Eva Elfie, bananas, etc.).

Also in the official group on the social network from the CIS it is indicated that players will NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE PART in global events. This is unfair. I want to receive bananas, pillows, meme stickers and all sorts of fluff content.

Please read the thread (my answers are marked blue, so it’s easy to follow), I already answered this question:

Not to mention the migration page today says:

“There may be products or discount campaigns that are specific to a region [on the Pixel store].” Should we assume that extends to vehicle variants that will be available to CIS players only as well? I mean there are some other things that qualify as store products besides vehicles, but it would be good to know wherever you play if that’s something that’s going to start happening now.

wait for news

Here’s being said by russian moderator that they won’t ever consider linking rubles (russian currency) to GJN/PIX as it will ruin the market.
Not a guarantee but still.

The CC decal links are allegedly being worked on as per .ru forum moderators, I’d imagine everything else you mentioned will come back along with them. To my knowledge, DMM players have access to all of that stuff too.

@Stona_WT Can you please tell us where we can still ask questions about migration and some unclear points and ask them now? We don’t have access to our usual place - we were thrown out into the cold without warning. Can you organize for us a general topic here for discussion, asking questions, whining and etc?

What questions are you interested in?

Not switching GJN/PIX from USD to the Ruble and delinking GJN and PIX exchange rates from each other would be two VERY different things.

First of all, I’m interested in whining. Well, they immediately asked above not to flood. Now, if we were given permission to create a thread where we could communicate in a language other than English, that would be great.

Communication in the format of translating from your language into English, posting it, waiting for someone to answer you as well, translating his message through Google back into your language with loss of context is not cool.

Um, that’s sort of the point? There’s been no news of this at all to the rest of the War Thunder community so far outside of Russian social media, even though it impacts the whole playerbase in some respects I’ve tried to identify. So “waiting for news” was 100% failing us before today, the first time I think a non-Russian mod has even discussed it so far or permitted questions. Nothing wrong with asking those questions once.

If you had 100 GJN in coupons you might have wanted to buy premium with on June 1, today you have around 80, because news that affected you was denied you by the company. That’s not a good look.

We cannot guarantee same prices for GJN on both markets (due to the economy fluctuations, a different currency system, different laws and regulations - for example, there is no market in Netherlands due to their local law!).
