Getting bored

I had played few years in this game but recently is getting more and more bored to me, is not like I just died after spawn but just feeling nothing after getting a kill or being killed, or you can say the matches had become bored. Not sure what the reason, maybe the game mode, the map design or the bugs, it just feel like I had squeeze every drop of fun out of this game

Burnt out probably, just take breaks from it and play other games. Been playing since 2015 and I still take months breaks time to time, longest was 2 year break.

Yeah, I don’t even feel fun after kill someone with Kamikaze or using a rank 1 vehicle to kill a tiger

I stopped playing more than 10 games a week as bases. And the only reason i do play those games is practically passively grinding sq vehicles.
I don’t even care about ^playing^ while i’m in this.

WT is fun when you play ^some^ games and don’t overinvest in it.
It’s actually pretty good in that regard.
I don’t even care about ^playing^ , i mean i’m don’t take things too seriously . I may try to do stupid things for a change , or try different approaches and i certainly dgaf what’s the best vehicle , what is overpowered and what is underpowered and also about the ^correct^ way to play.
Imagine i’m trying to spade the Jaguar GR.1A .

During covid lock down I actually learned how to mod GTA and Mugen fighting game lol it’s my go to when I’m sick of WT

Can’t relate. If I’m not feeling up to it, I simply play something else. I don’t force myself to play gamemodes I dislike, BRs I dislike (i.e, top-tier) and vehicles I dislike. I’ve found line-ups, vehicles, BRs that I can come to day-in-day-out, year-in-year-out, and have a good time. I also make sure that I am achieving things out side of War Thunder, such as education, career, relationships, other hobbies.

No fun even al low tiers, because of the mixing of nations and epochs.

U sorta gotta balance gaming with other activities, otherwise it gets insanely boring. Also, I wouldn’t bother focusing on the grind, I gave up trying to get top tier and instead got all the rank 1-4 US vehicles, and 2 lines up to rank 6, so I can play with variety rather than using the same vehicles over and over again. Also try starting a new nation, low tier Sweden air has been pretty fun for me. Make sure u also go outside and maybe even touch grass so that u have something to do for the rest of the day so that u don’t end up grinding n getting bored

i get same feeling every time i play war thunder been playing from 9 years and something nothing major changed that’s why i get so bored from war thunder.
but what i do to get over it is yap on the forums or play others game like the Sim 4 / ark kill dinos :D / back 4 blood and bully zombies i do that me and my sister it’s so fun also try war thunder custom battles it’s fun people there also try playing with meme tanks if you have like strum tiger or pancake something funny.
