Yeah it loses about 20% of it’s hp/ton ration -
Mk 1 Ratio: ~24.3 hp per tonne (190 hp / 7.8 tonnes)
Mk 2 Ratio: ~19.1 hp per tonne (235 hp / 12.25 tonnes)
It’s got a butt ton more torque - ~230–240 lb-ft (~310–325 Nm) for the Jaguar, vs 400–450 lb-ft (~540–610 Nm) for the upgrade.
Not sure if that counts for much in WT tho??
No, Scimitar Mk.2 has 3rd gen, BGTI is 2nd gen.

This event variant would be slower at a higher BR with a 30mm. Thermals and a LRF aren’t going to help it at all.
“Slightly modified” this is in the same sense as the UH-1Y/AH-1Z. Similar to the original in name and name alone, everything on it is new or revised.
worse power to mass and larger but thermals (thermals shouldnt change BR they arent really that important) and LRF.
torque is marketing lie, you will fail to climb slight hill still.
It physically cant go higher than 8.0, warrior is 8.3 with the same thermans and LRF, but has even better armour and MILAN 2 missiles. APFSDS (which we didnt use or has never been mentioned as used) still wouldnt make up for the lack of euromissile
It’ll be faster due to the ability to remove the cages and mine protection. For a 2-5t weight increase you get 45hp more, an automatic transmission and still have 19.2hp/t.
