Get the Scimitar Mk.2 in the Scimitar Strike Event!

Something tells me theres an issue on the side of the hull here. Its the only hull composite thats not counted with the rest of the armour too I think?

I would ask that before adding a vehicle, they at least fix as many of the bugs and historical errors as possible, because then as soon as you use it, you clearly see how poorly made it is, leaving you with a terrible gaming experience of something that took you many hours to achieve.

Is there any reason why you didn’t add an extra task this time? It sucks to lose out on a vehicle because I’m missing a single task.

Other events (like the EFV, Tu-95/Stratofortress, etc) had an extra task that would give you three technology researches. Why is it missing this time?

Damn, not a premium so stock grind, no special camo, AND no free techs task? Someone at Gaijin truly hates this vehicle.

I think they wanted the event to be of a specific duration, hence why no extra stage with a modification box. They are probably juggling quite a few things they want to fit into their schedule for content release. As it is we have this event, the BP, nuclear escalation, pages of history, the monthly decals, and the infantry CBT that recently concluded - this is all just from the last 20 days!

I already said it, I’m going to use it along with the Challenger 2 TES and OES, although I’m sure I’ll die much more than I kill, but oh well, it doesn’t matter.Anything to use a temporarily realistic alignment.

may be ok if they fix the thermals and give it APFSDS at 8.3 but in its current state id say its a worse package than scimitar mk1

EM235 when

The pity is that there aren’t bigger ones, where you can fire the Scimitar Mk 2 from up to 2km against other IFVs without problems, which is why the British installed the Rarden cannon.

I agree, although my mental health would suffer too much if this were also an event and I needed so many games to get it.I personally would put the Scimitar BGTI EM235 in the tech tree as an unlockable vehicle.

They should take Fox out of its folder and put EM235 in the folder instead.

BGTI Scimmies never got the EM235 kit fyi

EM235 was a mod done to Scimmies sent specifically to Afghanistan, BGTIs were never deployed there thus never got the mod.

Personally would like to see both the LEP BGTI and the EM235 though. EM235 for the engine power and the BGTI cause I think it looks cute with its massive “ears”

The truth is, the different variants of the Scimitar are a bit confusing.
So, this is the Scimitar EM235?In this image, it can be seen that the commander has a simple sight (not a thermal one).

And this is the Scimitar BGTI? In this one you can see how the commander has a sight that looks somewhat similar to the gunner’s, so I imagine it’s also a thermal sight.

scimi with just 195hp after the transmission changes is bloody fast. extra 40hp and its like arcade mode

fox and eland would make sense together as they are very similar, one has better damage per shot and one has volume of fire, both should be 7.7 too

Can’t tell, the only outward difference is the intake dust cover.

On EM235’s it’s a squared off box, on regular LEPs it’s just curved sheet

Yup those are BGTIs 2 big ears means BGTI.

Unfortunately not, A BGTI sight with thermals has a separating line in the centre like the gunners sight. Although IRL the commander has the Gunner’s thermals feed duplicated into his sight, but this is not a feature modelled in game on any vehicle :/

sadly would be obsolete as the MoD didnt duplicate gun controls for commander. other than for the sake of personal immersion the commander sight is useless on scimitar mk2

Does this mean that if someone 50cals the Thermal imager the tanks entire ability to fight is disabled?

I believe so yes…

Its been reported but, sigh. A lot of the reports have yet to be implemented. here’s hoping that changes.
