Get the Scimitar Mk.2 in the Scimitar Strike Event!

The Scimitar Mk.2 might not be a good vehicle either lol

Fair but it will probably be more useful than the EFV. Although the EFV is great for ambushing the C point on Tunisia from the ocean.

The Spitfire floatplane was really useful in that floatplane event

I disagree. Extremely unique vehicles make poor event/BP rewards.

Not having the EFV is a major loss of unique gameplay. Same with stuff like the AVRE and other vehicles that are extremely unique. Even more so when the maker is a major exporter. Those prototype are needed for a tree to have unique vehicles and not just stuff they exported to everyone.

Well I would have preferred the Sabre for being even more of a side grade to the Scimitar, this isn’t the worse pick to lose as unobtanium compared the ones that really bring gameplay upgrades.

True. Hopefully they will do that event more frequently as I find it enjoyable.

I would say having the EFV in any lineup is a major loss.

Edit: at least until the company fixes waves on small bodies of water.

That’s fair, I personally would prefer not to have FOMO event vehicles in the first place, but I would rather they were prototypes than service vehicles

If you look next to no one want event vehicles. Unless the maker left out researchable on purpose, researchable will always be on top.

Which is fair unobtanium like BP, Premiums and Events sucks.

take current scimitar

little more armour, better for peeking over hills

thats all, fine enough

I think the main problem here is the event vehicle system, that makes it so vehicles are completely unobtainable after the event is over

From a gameplay perspective, it’s just the warrior without milans, and the warrior isn’t particularly strong at the moment even with its missiles

With prototype being the primary source of nations like the US’s, unique vehicles. Making prototypes event make it so nations like US is only left with stuff it exported to everyone in its tree, leaving it’s research tree made up of pure “C&P”.

Prototypes included some of the most unique and at times important vehicles to the operator so losing them to event is far worse then this vehicle.

Side grades to something already found it the tree (with a semi-pointless gimmick) is the best. Oh and having the operator nation being one with a home in the tree. (Otherwise it’s a poor reward do to more issues then less)

So the Churchill Crocodile. Is the example of the best reward. As the base vehicle is found in the tree(with the exact variant) but at the same you have the flamethrower that give it worth if you have it. Yet at the same time isn’t some the overhauls gameplay enough for a completely different BR/Rank. Oh and it operator nation has a permanent home in the tree(being the host).

youre playing it wrong. its very decent

I’m not disagreeing with you, prototype vehicles that offer unique gameplay experiences should not be kept behind a paywall or made unobtainable after an event, however I do think the crocodile would be better as a tech tree vehicle as the were used extensively in the immediate aftermath of D-Day

Would you say the FV4030/3 was a good event vehicle? It’s a unique prototype the never entered service but in terms of gameplay it’s very similar challenger 1

Statshark says it has a 0.78 k/d

0.84 last month. which for a light tank that isnt extremely underdtiered is pretty good.

the average player absolutely sucks in light tanks

for reference here is my stats from using it even when it was genuinely the worst modelled tank ever to where it now is with a year and a bit of my bug reports

This, the XM800 has a k/d of 0.81 for June as example. Lots of players struggle if they cannot just shoot center-mass

(personal Scimitar K/D is 2.43)
