Could the old wiki just be brought back or at least could it be made possible to edit the old wiki?
I doubt they would want to provide and cater for two separate wikis…

In that case they should keep the old wiki and dump the new one.
New wiki removed all the functions that made me love the wiki in the first place

Absolutely!
The new wiki is badly designed compared to the old one as well as missing most of the important content.
It’s unbelievable that Gaijin have done it twice in such a short period.
First they made the WT stat card basicly unusable, and then the wiki.
For how long though? Can we get a date? You gave us an end date on the old forums.
Based on Rinhord’s reports,
users hoping to contribute information get turned down for “too short articles.”
But a lot of information that’s missing SHOULD be offered in short articles because people want access to information in a quick and concise manner, not long meandering paragraphs that repeat the same information you already know from the master article discussing a given mechanic.
Articles I’d expect:
Discussions on a plane’s cockpit visibility
MEC values/thermodynamics
Maneuvering-Energy diagrams with/or derived information (best speed to turn at, best G to turn at for a given purpose)
None of these would pass merit based on what Rinhord posted (Introducing War Thunder Wiki 3.0! - #181 by Rinhord)

Design to me is fine, but the content they took away was a terrible idea. It is a major step back award, especially for newer players who already face a steep learning curve and a relentless fight to avoid rage quitting.
Priority #1 bring back pros and cons. I can’t believe anyone thought this update would be a good idea .

New wiki design is much much better. It just need add some functions and improvements. Definitely I dont want old one.

so far bringing back the old wiki has 57%, keep the new wiki but allow the old wiki to be useable again 23% and keep the new wiki 20%

Still doesn’t change the fact that we want the old wiki back, and we still are winning the vote.
Also there is quite a lot of people in favor of keeping the old wiki, as seen on forum posts and the comments of the announcment([Wiki] Introducing War Thunder Wiki 3.0! - News - War Thunder)
That poll is absolutely irrelevant because the sample is so small that it says absolutely nothing about what the majority wants. I know many people who want new wiki including me. If we really want to know what the majority wants, Gaijin should give the option to vote directly in the game so that as many players as possible can see it.
