Oh Jesus, what a bad event, at least I know I can no longer play until Tue until Christmas thanks to gaijin :)
@Stona_WT why don’t the developers include a loading screen for these events? Like the image cover on the very start of the announcement.
because said art doesnt have layers
Another ground german event without the 140mm leopard
Get Rheinmetalled
Boooooring. Just another stupid modern vehicle.
Probably 10.0 or 10.3
There is a distinct lack of hype when you look at this and the Iranmobile event lmao
Not sure what’s worse:
- the fact that it’s not a TT vehicle serving as RadKampf’s successors (because there aren’t many that fulfill this role)
- RHN camo on a KMW vehicle
Guess Gaijin’s gotta milk the Boxer family til the end. Pass from me cause I’ve been wanting it to be TT (it’s literally Germany’s only option when it comes to modern wheeled MGS, and Gaijin just had to make it an event vehicle, I’ve no words to describe just how much this keks Germany over in the long term, but then again, all Gaijin cares about is short term profit so ).
I don’t care what other people say. This vehicle looks like a ton of fun! I have the CT-CV 105HP from last year, and this seems like a slightly different version for the German TT.
YesThis vehicle is similar to the one from Sweden, cv105, I made it when there was an event on it, I played it 4 times and I regret it, and each of my friends regretted this vehicle, I won’t make this mistake again
CT-CV 105HP is 10.0, what makes you think this would be lower? Especially with DM63.
Hopefully it won’t be more than 10.3
Thanks for another clone

No loading screen? That art looks sick

Yes so much fun isn’t it? It’s like we can’t pay around 30GJN for the same vehicle just in another tech tree, haha, I’m excited for wasting my time on this copy pasted vehicle.
Probably a bit higher since it gets the DM63 round and an autoloader.
Compare it to the Radkampfwagen 90 or the CV90105.
Edit:
or even better, compare it to the CT-CV 105HP.
And if it had been an old vehicle, you would have comments saying:
“Boooooring. Just another stupid old vehicle.”
Almost as if preferences for older or more modern vehicles were a subjective matter.
We don’t have the Cockerill 3105 turret in game.
For the 105mm Cockerill turrets only the Cockerill CT-CV 105mm and the Cockerill XC-8 are in-game.
Cockerill websites for each turret:
The Cockerill CT-CV (TM) Weapon System (advanced 105mm) successfully demonstrated its gun launched missile capability - John Cockerill
Eurosatory: CMI Defence and BAE Systems Hägglunds present the CV90105 - John Cockerill
Cockerill® modular turret 3105 : Defense - John Cockerill
The Cockerill Turret series might look like the same turret at first glance, but each version is an improvement in design philosophy.
The ‘first’ turret CT-CV brought an autoloader for large calibre 105mm guns into the series, with the integration of very new munitions such as Belgian MECAR M1060CV ammunition, smart ammunition and Belgian-Ukranian gun fired missiles. Also the great elevation angles were a new addition: -10° to +42°.
Specifications of the CT-CV series + picture:
Main Components
- Two man turret
- Cockerill 105 mm CV gun
- Electro-mechanical power control system
- Panoramic sight
- Fully stabilised day/night gunner sight
- Laser range finder
- Ballistic computer for firing on the move
Characteristics
- Calibre: 105 mm NATO
- Barrel length: 5,586 mm
- Weight: 1,750 kg
- Maximum firing rate: 6 to 8 rounds/minute
- Uniquely high elevation range: -10° to +42°
- Effective indirect-fire engagement capability

Here is the turret on the Belgian army Piranha III.

The XC-8 is an upgrade of the CT-CV variant, but with several design changes. The turret was made lighter, but level 5 STANAG 4569 armour was added all-around. The optical systems were majorly updated, with the possible integration of soft APS systems, far more smoke grenade options and ammunition and more integrated environmental measurement systems to help with the ballistics computer in the turret.

Here is the Cockerill XC-8 turret and the CV90 tracked chassis..
And now the newest version of this family of turrets is the 3000 series. This is actually a development from the XC-8 version, but with many internal and external changes, such as a new crew compartiment, bustle mount, optics, breach mount, LWD, UAV integration since 2016, new environmental measurement, etc.
There are also plenty of Belgian ammunition types available for the Cockerill 3105:
