That’s not surprising at all. Even a really bad reward will always have its fans. I’ll go even further: if the developers added a Boeing 747 as an event reward, there would still be people saying it was a good reward (although, let’s be honest, it would be a very questionable one).
But let’s be objective here. If instead of the AMV (BMP-3) we got an MBT — for example, the Vickers MBT Mark 4, Panzer 87-140, Tariq 2, EE-T1 Osório, etc. — it would appeal to a larger number of players.You don’t exactly need to be a War Thunder expert to figure that out.
Can everyone just relax and stay on topic. There is probably a ton we could all agree on. If we work together as a collective the community is quite strong. We have seen some recent improvements from Gaijin as a result of this.

Tbf you’re argument is skewed, yeah those vehicles would be more popular because they are more well known, how many dedicated Finnish or actually well versed Nordic players do you meet?
Imo I’d rather this for Finland than one of their unique vehicles as this fits better for an event but that’s my take.
I’m waiting for my Polish version in a Polish tech tree, it will make a nice addition in the 9.3 line up ❤️
