Yeah cause spending some hours on making vehicle more useful is clearly to hard for them. Some of their choices are just mindboggling.

Back to topic so yeah. I think instead of KF41 German players should request Boxers and correctly implemented PUMA’s (the older ones as well)
I believe Germany shouldn’t get the KF41 Lynx and this is my reason:
Germany is a Tech Tree with a very solid Ground Line up, they already got vehicles similar to the KF41 Lynx that being the Puma IFV. They also never operated the KF41 Lynx unlike Hungary but for those who say “what about the Challenger 2E in the UK Tech Tree” I say look at the Hunter F.58 in Germany. You guys have a British made vehicle in Germanies TT yet its not in the British Tech Tree. So it’s basically either you agree to some vehicles being swapped from Germany to other Tech Trees for a single KF41 or you pass it down and wait for it to be added in the future.
Let poor Italy shine for once instead of getting frustrated because your nation isn’t performing as good as you want it to be (unless it is objectively underperforming which it isn’t unlike Japan)
oh im a german main myself. i served on the Leo 2 after all. but im of the kind that gets annoyed by gaijin for saying pls report bugs and we keep reporting them and nothing happens.
Puma is the prime example that gaijin clearly doesnt know what to do with it
it also doesnt help that certain techmods dismiss our sources for certain things only to use THE EXACT SAME SOURCE to prove a point.
i know most german mains are just annoying but there are decent ones out there too.
As i said before. best cause of action is for gaijin to REMOVE the buggy and frankly unfixable mess that is Puma for now and replace it with a KF-41 variant. The none adopted Australian Config that lost Land 300 to the AS21 Redback for example.
We dont mind italy shining for multiple patches, we just wanna make sure that for the future it will result in germany not getting any export vehicles with the same reason looking at KF51 Panther as example
wouldnt be that hard to just ctrl+c the sucker. they did that with so many other stuff already, i just dont know why they refuse to do it in toptier.

I believe Gaijin isn’t introducing the KF41 to Germany so they can reserve space for a Puma IFV with Spikes.

Sadly the boxer is a worse puma so to say, one reason we are intrested in the KF41 is the unique APS system it has, which germany is lqcking in any kind until future possible leopard version which are far away in the future
While similar they are not the same and many of us are intrested in the APS system of the KF41, the problem with Puma S1 is that, it is not just adding Spikes quickly, they essentialy need to completly remodel the Puma again which could need god knows how long when u look at how long the leopard 2 pso needed which is broken as well
I was thinking more about the speed. I really don’t count on the armor when it comes to wheeled vehicles
I say look at the Hunter F.58 in Germany
None of us wanted it. I dunno why people keep going back to the Hunter F.58 argument, absolutely nobody, not even the most hardline German mains - wanted it. I myself suggested back then to just remove it and add the Alpha Jet ICE that Germany had wanted to procure in late 1980s (because it would be basically identical in what weapons it brings to the table). Take it away really and just give us our Alpha Jet.

You would be suprissed how survivable the IFVs are, one reason because they are empty. And Specialy the KF41 APS system could potentialy make it very survivable
i suspect dornier causing issues on that one…
I’ve seen some vehicles on Eurosatory that would satisfy this need better.
Why would they do? Didn’t they merge with different companies?
