Even if Puma were to get Spikes, or a new version with Spikes was added, the KF41 would STILL be better. I am absolutely livid right now. This isn’t even the first time this has happened, see: Swedish Leopards.

Seems to be a trend for Gaijin nowdays. Just give everything good that Germany designs and produces to other nations, whilst not adding to Germany herself.

Now with the puma not receiving spikes Germany should get it. It’s a joke tbh that italy gets the second spike thrower while israel has none and Germany with the most famous spike thrower vehicle doesn’t get it aswell

I find this whole thing really annoying they moved te PUMA to 10.0 but won’t fix it and give it SPIKEs and to add insult to injury they add a German made IFV to a Hungarian sub tech tree but won’t add it to Germany because “it’s an export”. Yeah sure let’s just ignore that several nations in game are using vehicles they export or haven’t put in service yet cough 2S38 cough. Gaijin’s double standards here may have put a bit of a stain on the Hungarian KF41 at least to me anyway.

The US never used the t1e1, t28, t95, t14, m22, t20, the m1a1 aim, the hstvl, m4a5.
Britain never used the vijayanta, the khalid, any of the vickers, the challenger 2e.
China never used the mbt 2000.
Germany didnt use the 2a5 pso or the tams.
Etc etc.
Why would germany not get a vehicle they designed?

It’s about time that Germany top tier get some love. Right now it’s just an absolutely clowns show. Italy gets germanys most advanced ifv just because it’s not used by german army? And at the same time they add the PSO? I guess Gaijin should remove all objects, Prototypes, concept and export vehicles? I hate this double standard…

I just checked out the KF41 on the dev, and honestly, I am at a loss for words.
Frontally it is BETTER protected than the Puma… why? Because Gaijin is taking their sweet arse time with fixing Puma’s armour. It’s basically just a significantly better version of the Puma right now, even though Germany chose Puma precisely because:
- It was better protected

While I completely understand what and why you want, I still disagree:
Hungary doesn’t have much else for top tier other than the Leopard 2A4 (German, in many tech trees, rank 6), the Leopard 2A7+ HU (German, not in game yet), or the Panzerhaubitze 2000 (German, not in game yet). All of these vehicles will undoubtedly come to Germany, and probably even more countries, leaving Hungary’s top tier as just a German copy-paste, but worse. With the Lynx KF41 HU, Hungary has something unique and competitive which gives Hungary’s top tier an identity. If Germany also gets the Lynx KF41, this will all be gone and Hungary’s top tier would have no unique-ness, no identity. Hungary’s top tier would just be Germany 2.0.
Now for Germany, what benefit would the KF41 bring? Sure it would be cool and fun and modern, but Germany is already a massive and very powerful tech tree. One more modern vehicle wouldn’t add much. Germany can get loads of other vehicles anyway, whereas Hungary’s top tier can’t.
So in summary, a KF41 for Germany would bring a little short-lived joy and power to Germany, but would soon be overshadowed by new German vehicles, meanwhile this move would take away all incentive to grind to top-tier Hungary. Why would we do so much damage to the brand-new Hungary for a little gain by the already super popular and well-established Germany?

An argument for uniqueness is nothing more but useless, not gonna lie.
Germany’s MBTs are being given out left and right (see: Leopard 2A4 in 3 different trees, Leopard 2A6 in another tree).
Why should we lose out because Hungary stops being “unique”? Germany had already lost its own uniqueness after Sweden received their best MBT.

You do realise loads of countries have German tanks? Sweden (through Finland) has the Leopard 2A4 and Leopard 2A6 (as well as Strv. 122s which are Leopard 2 related).

Hungary needs an identity? How about Germany getting an identity? Top tier aviation is a MiG and top tier ground is a discount version of Sweden who gets the better Leopards where the Swedish 2A6 isn’t even relevant because you have better options.
Germany has a 2A5 and 2A6 from 3 years ago at 11.7 with the next best thing at 10.0.

Because Germany is a huge, powerful, competitive, popular tree. More modern German vehicles can always be added. If we take Hungary’s uniqueness through their KF41 away, what chance do they have left to have any sort of high tier identity left outside of being the Germany 2.0? I don’t see why thousands of players are throwing a tantrum over not getting one German vehicle, Germany gets something every update and before Hungary can even enter the game you want to make it’s crown jewel German? Just wait one or two updates and the PUMA will get its spikes and the Leo 2A7 and Panzerhaubitze 2000 will come and so on.

Germany is LITERALLY one of the weakest top tier ground tech tree, not having received anything new for rank 7 ground in almost 3 years now and the new PSO is a sidegrade to the 2A5 which was added in March 2019, over 4 years ago, and the 2A5 was already the worst late leopard 2 in-game, with the Leo 2PL coming next with its superior optics, the 2A6 (in germany and Sweden) next with a better gun, and the Strv122A/B both having SUBSTANTIALLY better armor and optics.
As for what the KF41 brings to germany, a high tier IFV that isnt nerfed into the ground and total dogsh*t like the Puma (Something that they desperately need)? As well as an expanded lineup at rank 7 (ALSO something Germany DESPERATELY needs)

Germany does have an identity throughout their entire tech tree. Right now their top tier may not be the best in-game, but that can very easily change with a few new German vehicles. Germany can easily gain a top tier identity, once Hungary’s is taken, they won’t really be able to get another identity.

Germany gets a “modern” vehicle added to its ground tech tree like once every 2 years ffs. Just because gaijin adds the 7 millionth 9.0 vehicle to germany, doesnt mean it bring anything to the game.

Thats a very key part of your statement, yes they could be added, but they arent. We have waited 3 years for a new MBT, and its a flaming pile of garbage at the moment. We have waited for a year and a half for the Puma to be fixed, while the Italian sub tree get one of the most feature packed IFVs that Germany has ever developed, all while Germany doesnt even get one themselves. The Leopard 2 being handed out like candy while nothing is given to Germany, wouldnr that set you off?
