Although I still think that at least Hungary’s KF41 will be unique to them
I’ll be perfectly honest with you. I really don’t believe KF41 will be “unique” in any way (nor in gameplay, nor in appearance, nor in any any other way). When people think of the Lynx they straight up go “oh, Germany”.
Besides that I am low-key expecting the Aussie KF41 soonTM.

Considering the state the base model PUMA is in right now, it wouldnt be that much of an improvement. You know well enough that Gaijin will choose the easy way and only add the MELLS launcher and change the MG4 for the MG5 coaxial MG and thats it

For some reason Ilsignorregio actually really hates the Hungarian subtree and thinks it means Italy won’t get anything in the future, but Gaijin confirmed that’s not the case and Italian vehicles will still be added.
No unmanned turret, same gun, Spike and lastly the godly Strikeshield APS system
Question which Puma, if S1, in general Lynx is much better for in game and irl for many countries because, well its export designed, Lynx is more mobile have spikes, hardkill APS and in general more working armor because of Gajin

it is arguable which ones better i guess, depends how much u prefer 5km/h more or 0,5m length
of course similar, one thing that realy intrests me of the KF41 is the APS system, which no other german vehicle would have either, the nearest thing would be Leopard2A7A1 and that one is god knows how long away

Honestly I don’t know enough about the Puma to understand what you said, but yes Gajin loves the easy solution. With my German main hat on, I’d say German mains should ask for any other powerful German high tier tank to be added (or buffed/fixed) other than the KF41, as that will cause Hungary and Italy damage (since people will just play the German one instead).

I try to argue to the best of my capabilities, should a person half awake or a person sadly inflicted with “german mainism” have their opinions discounted because of this, but jokes aside I do my best to argue to why the KF41 should not be added to germany, their only argument is that Rheinmetall is german and that is the end of it, that and the fact the PUMA is bugged which considering how the german army seems to be displeased with it might be accurate
In respect to what you and @theHarbinger123 said, Gaijin not getting involved in this thread via any of the higher mods is the “easy solution”. Them giving us all the silent treatment is their solution to a problem THEY created.
Ideally - Puma would’ve been fixed by now, and even without the SPIKE launchers it would be pretty good, yeah no it isn’t.
Alas, nobody will grind Italy for the Lynx, I won’t, other people won’t, it’s basically just a “huh” addition.
Kurassier didn’t lose its “huh” factor when given to Germany & France, after Sweden got the 2A6, more people still played Germany.
Honestly just give the Aussie KF41 to us, it’s different enough to provide flavour for both sides.
Pretty sure the Leopard 2 ATD would have that but thats pretty much in the same boat as the KF-41 Lynx, made by Rheinmetall but not adopted by the Bundeswehr (atleast not yet), so Gaijin might deny us that one too for some reason
what problem? not giving a vehicle to germany that is used by a now ingame nation, only reason other export vehicles are given to the origin nation is because they lack the user nation, the M1A1 AIM is an odd case I will admit they just wanted a squadron M1
