Anyway, the vehicles in this country have their weaknesses selectively restored, and every update doesn’t really add anything good. It’s better to just remove them.

Oh my god, the 140mm Leopard 2, how long have we been waiting for this? This thing could totally be made just by reskinning the L2A4.
The weaknesses here aren’t the ones the tanks naturally have, but ones the developers arrogantly added, like the massive steering mechanism on the Strv 57 or the breech of the Leopard 2 that leaks air.
No reason to get grumpy with me yo, like i said, you cant just say Germany needs new top tier tanks and expect everyone to know what tanks you want added there are some tanks that Germany could have added, but you cant just expect people to read your mind

I’m not losing my temper with you, I’m just amazed that after so long Germany hasn’t had a new top-tier vehicle, some people still don’t realize that aside from new players, there aren’t really many old players left playing this country.
The 140mm Leopard 2 was approved in the proposal report a long time ago, but they’ve never agreed to put it in the game.
And it’s already disappointing enough that there are no new vehicles; in the next patch, Germany’s new CAS vehicles will always have to be bought with gold, and regular silver-bought planes will never be able to do CAS before 6.3 BR.
Eh, id personally say only real thing outright lacking from german TT as of currently is 10.7 heli.
Maybe backup tank to 2A7V.
Otherwise they have decent options all around.
On the wishlist side of things:
Id like to see 10.7-12.7 CAS aircraft with more than two powered FnF missiles (like Mavs).
And maaaaaaaybe some SPAAG with proxy rounds.
However what germany desperately NEEDS is reload time adjustment for Leo2s, especially after T-80 buff. Expert reload time with fully trained loader MUST be set to 6 seconds flat for all Leo2s.

The DM53 is really great. I don’t care much about reload speed, what I care about is that Germany should be able to have its own unique features!
A lot of people think of Germany as having excellent guns and excellent armor, but in this game, the even better Leopard 2 has been given to other countries. Everyone can use the DM53, plus they get a more comfortable teammate environment and vehicle lineup, while you only have one well-protected Leopard, and the rest of the Leopards are either old models or have armor that’s been nerfed. Yes, I’m talking about the PSO and A6.
The developers admitted that the PSO is an improvement over the A6E, but they removed the frontal armor plate and still won’t admit that the PSO is based on the A6E, and they also removed the gunner’s HD thermal imaging.
your first problem is that you believe that because Gaijin agrees to a suggestion means they’ll put it in the game. not saying you shouldn’t, just dont really count on it, imo Gaijin isnt really a man of their word. but i do agree it would be fun to have the 140mm leo 2
That’s because they are still some of, if not the best, top tier tanks in the game, and that’s with a number of artificial nerfs as well.
While I’m not against rolling back some of those nerfs, any new vehicles added currently would just be also nerfed down to pretty much the performance of the current ones.
Best to give current vehicles full capabilities 1st, then add new stuff later IMO.

Trust me, once you try abrams with 5.3 sec reload on expert crew + trained loader, any other MBT will feel like fighting in honey.

Germany has been neglected for so many major updates, and this update is really disappointing. The Wild Bee SPG is nowhere near as good as the Stubborn Mille and Big Max, which just means newbies need to grind for more experience.
The air force is the classic pay-to-win part, since in Germany you can only get CAS with cash.
The spare L2A7V is totally fine. I know how OP the Swedish Leopard used to be, but they won’t even give Germany this kind of copy-paste treatment. The L2A7VA1/L2A8 has been in service for about 2 years, more than enough to be added into the game, yet they just ignore it.
It would be great if the game could have a design where carbon-based creatures are loaded explosively; at least this adds another variable for those manually loading vehicles.
Maybe Spanish L2A6E, up armoured L2A6, that would probably be a decent side grade to the L2A7
Rollback nerfs are one thing, but player loss is the biggest problem. Everyone knows that this country’s vehicles are better in other countries, meaning they lack unique features. If they could release a vehicle that’s fun enough to compete with other countries, Germany’s player numbers would definitely bounce back.
For Germany right now, as long as it can give top-tier squads more options, it’s a good vehicle.
It would be like the Swedish STRV 122s, but with the L/55 gun rather than the L/44.
So STRV 122 armour, L2A6 firepower
