Germany was costantly behind, but it seems everyone forgets that because recently it was only by one patch instead like a year

Try fighting the FGR 2 in the F-104G… oh wait, we had to and it wasn’t fun for us either. How about the time we only had normal R-60s against your PD guided Sparrows? Lol.
The “it’s your turn to wait” isn’t even remotely applicable here and honestly it’s hypocritical considering UK pre MiG-23MLA was far better off than Germany.

The point is. Germany typically has to wait 1 maybe 2 updates to get a decent new top tier aircraft.
Im suspecting Germany will get something new maybe September or October. Worse case scenario. December.
Britain has had consistant gaps of maybe a year between new top tier aircraft. The Last time Britain was actually top tier before the Gripen was when the Hunter F6 was top tier. Phantom FGR2 had its moments. But has been chronically underpowered since the Mig-23MLD was added end of 2022 and didnt get replaced until the same update that Germany got the Mig-29 in which we got hte Tornado F3, which was so unplayable that I dont actually consider it was added until June 2023. A full year after the F-14A and 18 months after the Mig-23MLD.
Yes, “who suffers most” is a stupid argument. But Germany is not suffering that badly this update. F-4F ICE is a useable airframe, with weapons equal to the competition.

I’ve been asking for the Typhoon since September last year. when Britain had 11.3s to fight 12.3 aircraft.
I want Germany, Italy and Britain to get the Typhoon ASAP. Ideally September, in reality probably December alongside the Rafale in an update dedicated to those nations. A proper Euro-Delta update.
I dont want any one nation to get it first.
heck i’ve even been advocating for Germany to get PGMs and BOL rails on their Tornado IDS even though there is 0 evidence that Germany used either on their Tornado IDS.
And since the Hunter F6, only the Gripen was timely. Remember the ENTIRE time you were getting new aircraft. Britain was just getting upgrades for the FGR2. We literally didnt get a new top tier aircraft from 2019 till 2023 in which we got an aircraft 0.7 BR lower than everyone else.
We had a brief moment of fun in the Harrier Gr7 till they nerfed Aim-9ls into the ground and over BRed the airframe

i feel like its worth mentioning that britain had to wait like 3 years for any decent toptier arb jet after the fgr2, so we have certainly also been in the same situation

Because German mains are making out as if they fighting F16s, Su27 and Gripen with only the mig23 MLA. Like they didn’t get the F4F-ICE this update. The exact aircraft they were asking for for the better part of the last year nor do they have the mig29 or mig29g
They won’t be getting something better now till September or October at the earliest but probably December when I predict typhoon will come for all
But always a chance for a swiss f18 before then
I’m personally doing just fine in the massively unfinished and buggy sea harrier FA2. F4F ICE is probably doing just fine as well
It’s not like we’re arguing that Britian wasn’t in the same type of predicament. However, what’s the point of coming here and telling us “oh you have to wait now just like we had to wait hurr durr” like the other two people have?

Wow, imagine just idk, ignoring the context that the “were asking” was used in by those people. Like most that I had talked to assumed that ICE would be used as a test platform with nerfed AMRAAMs before these could be added to 4th gen platforms. That’s history now and we know that they were wrong in their assumptions. A lot of people also presumed that Germany would receive a sub-tree via the Dutch and thus they would have both the F-4F ICE and F-16 to use, but the latter had been given to France instead.

Deal with it. Play the ICE. I haven’t touched the Gripen in 2 months and have 0 interest to play it
Pretty stupid idea in my opinion, the dutch army is part of the German Army, but because dutch population speaks French, the belgium sub-tree got added to the french tree.
