It does, considering there are tanks that rely on their armor for the most part to survive and DM33 is able to lolpen most armor-intensive tanks at around that BR, practically negating it.
Ariete has DM33 since it is paper thin, has ammo in the hull at all times and has worse optics and mobility than 2A4, which is in my opinion more than enough to justify the round difference.
M60 AMBT has KE-W at 10.0, so using your logic 2A4 should get DM43 at the very least lmao.
Stuff like T-64B have better rounds because they lack in many other factors you’re somehow forgetting to mention.

unfortunately I have very little knowledge on the ariete but I have heard not very many good things. DM33 for the 120mm is incredibly good at 10.3 though.
is the dm 33 so much better than the dm 23? I mean 11.0 is quite a lot. think about american tanks at that rating having high pen rounds.

Top tier arietes are bad yes, but the P kinda just looks at any tank and that tank either 1, explodes, 2, dies

Yea 10.3 is not fun atm, all you’re fighting is ZTZ-99, T-80U, TKX P, T-90, T-72B3, M1A1 etc.
it doable but you have to be quite good for it to work. Either BR decompresseion or further leo 2a4s with better rounds and better protection or some prototypes/exports in the leopard 2k line. I mean this line is predestined to have exoports such as the leopard 2sg, the canadian one or just prototypes such as the 2a6ex, 2a4 evo/revolution or the atd. I think this line should be filled. Or even 11.0 light tanks would be nice for instance the boxer 120mm tracked and wheeled versions, the wiesel mells, the marder 2, the marder mbt. These should be additions which are not top tier but slightly below it. Imo gaijin shouldnt add new top tiers and rather focus on filling rank 7 and then continue in rank 8. And a br decompression would be appreciated.

I really like those additions. What i would like is the differentiation between the leopard 2k line and the line of the 2a7v. And then a br decompression because i dont believe the 2a5 and the 2a7v should belong to the same br.
Try switching servers and seeing it for yourself, I play 10.7 and I usually get 11.3 rarely, most matches are 10.3-10.7
If it gets the thermals and 6s reload sure
