There is absolutly no mention for it to have armor upgrades to the 2a7V.

What I DO know is that germany does not need yet ANOTHER power creep upwards pushing the game even further into the abyss at 12.7 by constantly trying to one up every other nation. 2A7 is in a GREAT spot right now and is a GREAT tank.

The relevant upgrades mostly are against CAS and the occasional missle carrier.
It does not influence tank vs tank comabt, besides nowing if you got lasered, to maybe emergency dodge/smoke

The EMBT 2022 is at the same lvl as the 2a8.

It’s both insulting to me as well as makes you look worse than you should. If it isn’t obvious by now, and it may not be going by your previous comments, I didn’t support adding the new abrams to 12.7 either. I also don’t support the current 12.0 abrams staying where they are at, as they are effectively better tanks even in top tier than the Leclercs.

You’re probably right in saying they’re not exact counterparts, given that the Leopard 2A6 is superior.
The Leopard 2A6 has massively superior acceleration, superior reverse, superior reload, superior gun depression, superior penetration, etc. etc.
The Leopard 2A6 is vastly better in the ways that are most important to War Thunder’s meta, I.E., Mobility, responsiveness and lethality.
I think multiple nations deserve APS-equipped tanks to counter the BMPT and broken CAS.
The 2A7A1 is just not good enough for the current 12.7’s that are out there, so the Leopard 2A8 is the only logical conclusion I can see.
Besides, Gaijin is going to nerf the 2A8’s characteristics anyways.

All of its lineups? I don’t get this thought process of “others have Leopards at 12.7 so there’s no incentive for the whole tree”.
