This is an issue I’ve been pointing out for ages. While Germany has been getting a relatively steady (read as average) stream of additions, those additions are:

Well behind the amount of vehicles going to the US and Russia in a typical update; and
-
Largely absent above 10.7
Point 1 isn’t inherently an issue, as I’d like to see additions of new unique content be relatively equitable across all nations, but point 2 is significant.
I know you’re focusing on the Leopard 2a8, but I think it’s just as a important that Germany gets diverse lineups between 10,7 and 12.7 to help “bridge” the gap. Because right now, if you play 12.7, there’s a good chance you get teammates who are running 12.0 and 12.3 German Lineups with limited depth.
Germany as well over a dozen prototypes and demonstrator leopard 2’s that could help beef up those empty and orphaned line ups, and I hope we see some of those additions in the TT this year.
Unfortunately there are quite a few trees that aren’t getting any where near equitable attention, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

It’s an all around better tank than the 2A7 that is already the best top tier tank in the game (122B+, HU)
Please give another nation in game that has the best MBT in game combined with an APS. If everyone else has to make sacrifice(s) when they decide to play a tank with APS, so should Germany.
It should came in game with the T-90M2 or the T-80BVM mod.2023 and whatever the other nations can offer in the same level
strv122s are different tanks. they are better armored.
Strv122 with the addtion of DM53 is now clearly better as 2a7V
The issue there still was that the Abrams doesnt have a sepv3 with throphy.
You are comparing apples with peaches.
T90M aps is clearly better, VT4a1 is clearly better then VT4 and so on.
You can compare tanks of different types

T-90M arena is actually worse than the base T-90M since it loses the side relikt bags.
And Chinese players have to play the VT-4A1 if they want to play an APS tank, which is the sacrifice they make.
Maybe one day you’ll play MBTs at top tier other than the pretty easy mode Leo 2s and you’ll see.
And it’s also perfectly fine to not add the 2A8 until appropriate counterparts appear irl.

I can actually answer that, T80s didn’t got APS systems yet and the obr.2023 gameplay wise doesn’t add nothing other then another BVM value in lineup…although gaijin could circumveit this by adding the prototype T80UM-1 “Bars”

Its the easiest thing to do for MULTIPLE Nations.
Sweden having no other options, yeah sure give them a strv123A, and then they can wait another 2-3 years for another mbt
Yet still better protected by buffed ERA than a 2A7 and or 2A8 - besides that, I am pretty sure it could be added anytime as modification again. :)
Like a M1A2 with the excat same APS? Or a T-90M? Or a Merkava?
