Where do you get off deciding who needs what? I mean sure, I wouldn’t need it if gaijin ACTUALLY gave wirbelwind alternating fire it had in the history, but nah, can’t do that, how else would german players get dicked over by CAS right?
I mean, you’re here complaining about one of the best AA nation as if it’s unplayable.
I’ve played all WW2 German AAs (bar the Coelian since I missed it) and they’re all incredibly easy to use. Kugelblitz in particular because of the closed top nature, long effective range, moderately high RoF, high damage, decent pen for defense against tanks, good turret elevation/traverse speed, and moderately long sustained fire duration.
Yet here we are, hearing people saying Kugelblitz’s RoF is slow.
450-500RPM is just atrocious for AA at 6.7, it’s not even good enough to track propellers effectively let alone jets unless they are coming right at you which is exactly why most nations have a high rpm alternative.
kugelblitz poses zero threat to any cas player who isn’t a complete moron.
Germany consistently has fairly high firerate SPAA with the ‘lowest’ rate of fire being 250 rpm. The average is 450 rpm (for a single barrel) so I’m not sure how that’s considered ‘unusable’ when americans get SPAA with less than half that and do completely fine.
Yeah, I said the skink is sucky too, germany and US are the only ones without a high RPM vehicle. both nations have trash AA, I guess germany is slightly better off than US, but not by much. Basically every other nation has gotten a high rpm cold war spaa, only US and germany did not and there are definitelly vehicles germany could get to cover that weakness.
