Britain has bosvark and ystervark. Granted they aren’t durable but they have extremely high rate of fire and can engage much more effectively.

Hell brits get the ratel and it has BOTH a fast firing autocannon AND atgm’s. granted it’s bigger then wiesel but it can also fire atgm and sits 0.6 BR lower.

it’s not THAT bad, granted it isn’t great but it’s just a bit slower than ostwind. as for the size it doesn’t really all matter that much tbh.

I have more air kills in the ostwind in 14 games than the ratel 20 in 44. The ratel is horrible spaa. The turret traverse is slow, elevation is slow, it dies to everything, and the elevation is limited to 38 degrees
Don’t pay attention to what’s written here; the people saying Germany is great are the ones who want Germany to remain weak. My advice to you is to stop grinding or spending money on the German line. If you’re going to play, go with Swedish or Russian vehicles; you won’t have a nervous breakdown, and you’ll actually enjoy a relaxed gaming experience—that’s what I did, and it was a huge relief. German vehicles aren’t what they used to be; they seem artificially weak.

The wirbelwind and ostwind(both regular and the ostwind 2) are great at what they do I really don’t understand this guys argument over fire rate being the end all be all for spaa’s

the issue is exactly the same as to why many planes have several different types of mg’s/cannons, it’s because shooting at an air target is very often a difficult business and past certain speeds you will simply have issues with the target noving way too fast if you can’t attack them with high enough volume of fire
Those who says Germany is weak is either delusional, your typical German main, or classic skill issue. Having the easiest tanks to play and still calling it weak is exactly why the “Germany suffers” meme exist.
I mean, I’d call US heavies simply straight up better, but this isn’t a discussion for this thread.
Look, if you want high RoF, Wirbelwind and Hanomag got it covered. You don’t need an excessively high RoF to be an effective SPAA.
