German SPAA's are garbage, some sort of a high RPM low caliber SPAA is needed at 6.7

Think only M19/M42 does that, I forgot but I think Phong Khong T-34 is the only slow firing twin AA gun that doesn’t alternate from the start.

That’s why it’s 8.7, you are complaining about a lack of high fire rate SPAAs when you have almost that same rof 2 BRs lower

like how you are ignoring half the German SPAAs? You are also ignoring the BTRs gunner has literally zero protection and can get 1 tapped with a MG to fully disable the entire SPAA.
Having near gepard rof combined with decent top armour and good rotation speeds and high velocity ammo is an exceptionally good combination at it’s BR, if you can’t appreciate that then that’s on you I guess.
I’m not opposed to more SPAAs being added, but calling the Kugle “bad” is a joke.

Tbh I’d rather Gaijin focus on other TTs where massive SPAA gaps exist. Germany and Russia in particular are already extremely stacked with AAs.

yeah, one of my main nations is Japan so I do agree (years of type 93 as top tier spaa… it’s far better now though). And I am not exaggerating that the kugle is IMO the best SPAA at the BR range, just the closed top alone more then makes up for any minor disadvantages it has and it doesn’t have many.

You make literally zero sense, how does that help the crappy ww2 spaa’s that gepard exists? Gepard can afford to have a lower rate of fire because it’s aided by the radar.

‘‘like how you are ignoring half the German SPAAs?’’

Because literally none of them have ROF that exceeds 450RPM.

‘‘Having near gepard rof combined with decent top armour and good rotation speeds and high velocity ammo is an exceptionally good combination at it’s BR, if you can’t appreciate that then that’s on you I guess.’’

literally none of it means anything because it simply doesn’t have enough rate of fire for adequate coverage against at 6.7 extremely fast and maneuverable aircraft. Gepard can work with it because you can literally LOCK ON with radar. But kugel has neither guidance nor volume of fire to actually be decent at it’s role.

I don’t believe for a SECOND you would rather fight aircraft in a kugelblitz than the SUB-I-II.

‘‘Yeah I would rather have a shitty 450RPM vehicle than a 1030RPM bullet hose that’s gonna make short work of any strike aircraft’’

it’s ridiculous.

Wirbelwind literally has 480 rpm.

That already makes your statement false.

still complete ass rate of fire.

Brother I beg of you use the built in quote system please 🙏

Might I suggest the Shilka in the russian tree if you’re so hell-bent on wanting firerate?

Or the M163 in the US? Or basically anything else I missed

I’m doing this to spite you. so no. you can stop asking now.

''Might I suggest the Shilka in the russian tree if you’re so hell-bent on wanting firerate?

You missed we were talking about UP to 6.7. germany.
Literally one thing I cannot comprehend is why isn’t wiesel 6.7. It’s not like there aren’t plenty of similar vehicles lower. Ratel gets both a high ROF autocannon and an ATGM at 6.7.

Wait are you that clown who decided to call anything that had the m26 somewhere in its development line a Pershing just to spite me?

including but not limited to the m46 patton and t29 heavy?

No. you aren’t going to derail another thread with your idiocy. period.

I think you are just being deliberately dense at this point.

I am pointing out that the kugle fires only 3 less bullets per second (15 per sec vs 18 per sec) then the gepard which is considered an EXTREMLY high rof system, so implying that the kuge is slow 2 BRs lower is objectively nonsense.

Wirbelwind: 1920 rpm
Ostwind: 500 rpm
Zerstroyer: 1800 rpm
Kugle: 900 rpm

it means a great deal, you are just choosing to ignore it.

which AGAIN is why it’s 2 FULL BRs higher

I don’t rightly give a damn what you think at this point TBH, you can believe it or not, but I do enjoy not having my vehicle completely disabled and unable to shoot at all by a single cannon round. If you prefer pure volume of fire over literally anything else, that’s fine, go play a nation that provides that.

Lmao alright. Cya. I don’t need to stick around for this lol

No you don’t, not like you have anything of value to say. I will thank you not to derail any further threads I make with your off topic nonsense.

If this is ‘bad rpm’, don’t tell him about the sdfkz 6/2 which used to be able to nuke kv-1s through the driverport back in the day at about .8 miles.

And that’s on the lower end of the rpm range.

‘‘I am pointing out that the kugle fires only 3 less bullets per second (15 per sec vs 18 per sec) then the gepard which is considered an EXTREMLY high rof system, so implying that the kuge is slow 2 BRs lower is objectively nonsense.’’

Do you genuinely have some sort of a mental issue or do you not comprehend that for gepard rate of fire isn’t really as crippling because it’s a RADAR GUIDED SPAA with a lock-on function, as opposed to a manually aimed SPAA? If gepard didn’t have radar guidance then yeah, it would be ass.

‘‘Wirbelwind: 1920 rpm
Ostwind: 500 rpm
Zerstroyer: 1800 rpm
Kugle: 900 rpm’’

Ostwind has 250rpm. The rest are incapable of desynchronized fire so they all fire at the same time, creating holes in AA fire coverage, which is the entire reason why I made this thread. I have already told you this before, so stop acting like they actually have the rate of fire you claim.

‘‘it means a great deal, you are just choosing to ignore it.’’

I’m choosing to stick to actually valuable metrics.

‘‘which AGAIN is why it’s 2 FULL BRs higher’’

THEN WHY DO YOU KEEP CIRCLING BACK TO IT WHEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT 6.7?!

‘‘I don’t rightly give a damn what you think at this point TBH, you can believe it or not, but I do enjoy not having my vehicle completely disabled and unable to shoot at all by a single cannon round. A kugel isn’t going to survive a cannon shot either. if you mean from an autocannon then sure, but in this case offense is the best defense, any CAS player given the bullet hose treatment will think twice of approaching, but of course if your ROF is dogshit they will consider you easy pickings.

‘i have four barrels at 480 rpm a piece and I think this is terrible rate of fire because they don’t alternate’

… that’s not how that works. The gap between shells means little when the net is wider to compensate.

He meant the Ostwind II which does have two barrels.
