450rpm is by far the worst rpm of it’s class at 6.7. only the skink is worse.
literally doesn’t matter because your volume of fire isn’t high enough to intercept them. durability isn’t a deterrent to aircraft

It’s more than enough tbh, unless you fired at a plane 3 km away thinking that you can hit it.
Skinks RoF wasn’t even the problem on it. It’s mainly the terrible energy retention that makes it drop very quickly, reducing its effective range significantly.

four guns of very good velocity. you can swat any plane out of the sky without much effort its so easy to aim with. Your job isnt anti tank so being machine gunnable is not a dealbreaker, youre meant to be third line (not in spawn) defence. if an enemy tanks got you in your sights, generally thats your team failing.
not the case. We are reccomending the undertiered SPAA to deal with cas, because we want every yak9K blasted out of the sky as quick as possible
If being weak to MG firs is a dealbreaker then the kugelblitz is the better option. Far worse firepower (but still cracked for the BR) and enough armour that even 20mm wont always pierce it.

I didn’t call gepard good, I said basically every single nation has access to a high rpm autocannon vehicle at 6.7 or lower, EXCEPT for US and germany. Gaijin refuses to give german spaa’s alternating barrel fire while not giving it wiesel at 6.7 even though other nations already have it’s equivalent at 6.7 or lower firepower-wise.

Also the M53/59 has the SAME rof as the Kugleblitz
That and you are completely glossing over how useful not losing your entire turret crew to one HE cannon shell is, especially given how many CAS are usually up and like to strafe you when you are shooting at someone else.

Wirbelwind is 480 x4 20mm guns. Or 1920 effective rpm.
Zerstörer 45 is 1800 effective.
Kugel might be the odd one out by being 900 effective due to 2 barrels but these are not ‘slow firing’ by any means.
*This is also assuming all barrels fire at the same time because I genuinely don’t recall if they do in warthunder. Been a hot minute since I played ground.
I’m pretty sure only 37/40/57 mm dual cannons actually alternate while everything else fires simultaneously. Skink is an exception though since it seems to alternate after sustained fire.
don’t most of those usually fire both guns at the same too? they can de-sync when you are firing in quick, short bursts, but I’m pretty sure the default is to fire at the same time.
Ill have to double check later to see if something has changed.
Gepard is an outlier and you damn well know it, it also has radar tracking. I like how you conveniently ignore that soviets ALSO get BTR-ZD so it’s not an issue if they get one sucky SPAA when they got another much better one before it.

germany is crippled most by it though because that is all they have.
No, these guns still fire at the same time, therefore they don’t actually benefit from higher number of cannons because each salvo still leaves holes in between shots.
Most alternates after a brief period, but slower ones like M19/M42 alternates from the start.
