I agree. I got the Ef2k and I am still spading it. But one thing that I noticed is that the radar is sort of soso.

One example. I have a rafale coming straight at me, i locked him. I get the “shoot” and i send out three fox3, while he send one mica. I cannot see the mica on radar, no way to lock. My foxes don’t hit although the rafale did not shoot them down, i get hit by the mica. I was unable to lock the missile. I don’t seem to have the issue on the Swiss F-18C late. There i can lock the incoming missiles.
The second example which puzzels me. I fly high altitude and tilt my radar downwards. I can clearly see the RWR and radar target in front of my. Betty is indicating to me too the low flying threat. But as much as i put the radar cursor on the target, no way to follow in RWS mode, neither a lock possible. Then I hear a missile warning, but nothing. Cannot see that missile. Boom. I am gone. I noticed that the radar tilt makes the radar curso lock on the shown target impossible. I tried to level the tilt and have the nose of my Ef2k heading towards the previously shown target. Bing, that works. For me a bug. But who knows.
I am not a Eurofighter pilot, so i cannot compare to the F-18c, but I cannot imagine that it is this bad IRL. I gues all of this is a bug, either with SIM Battle in general or from the Ef2k.
