Eurosatory pretty much only was a showcase of “plans”, in the sense that they were to lazy to put a 2a7V with odean right next to it. It just looks better on the newest toy.
Thats why no broschure actualy mentions the odaeon for 2a8s.
Right now the system is only approved for integration in 2a7V for testing in the future leo 3 project.
Might they decide later on to put it on the 2a8? maybe, but thats plans for the future
just to make sure, ODEAON is a bigger system with the LDRCIM dome sound/visuell detection.

thats a bit how i understand it as well, depending how the light gets into the optics they can gather several data out of it. Its a very complex system.

This means the Leopard 2A8 will eventually have (in theory) MUSS 2.0. I guess we’ll find out.
For the time being, however, this absolutely obscene, unfair difference between the 2A8 and 2A8NO needs to be removed. Either both or neither have LWS, but one cannot have it while the other does not.
Even if your claim is true, you do understand how prototypes work, right? It was constructed and owned by Germany, so I’m not really sure why you think this thing just doesn’t exist. It has the technology and has been installed.
