gepard is perfectly fine at 8.3.
We should have a balance between CAS and SPAA. if anything, SPAAGs are all nerfed in game because we have to do a part of the aiming ourselves (IRL the gun computer automatically aims the guns when locked onto a target, the gunner just has to press the trigger to fire)
PGZ09 can maybe be put at 8.7 but not needed at much

The Ostwind has ~250rpm and is a great spaa, but that’s at 3.3. Not 7.0.
It also has a slow turret rotation, open top, and lacks APCR.
It’s a great tank, but it’s also actually fair to fight against in CAS.
There is no fairness in fighting open top AA with CAS. You can sling a bomb or HVARs from well beyond their effective range, or show up with just plain old guns when they’re distracted.
The Ostwind 2 at 5.3 is a better SPAA than the Kugel until you get shot at. Coelian is better than both and actually deserving of its current BR, +1.3br for top armor is a fair increase.

You’re right, my Ostwind wins 90% of the time and there’s nothing the plane can do.
Only 1 APDS out of 4 bullets tho so idk if it is really that good and the APDS pens not that much compared to other AA APDS.

it has 150 rounds of apds per reload which is much more than other spaa
at the cost of 8.7 and lower fire rate/ more bullet drop and lower pen but yeah it is more but it is better ?
Also for comparison ITPSV Leopard is the same br while having incredible capabilites and far better mobility and armor.
Technically 300 as you can carry 2 extra belts

It’s still the same way. Why? It can use AHEAD which is technically HE-VT. Yet M247 is 9.0. Is this some kind of chinese playerbase handholding?

thermals count only as advantage when its on german tanks, like the wiesel, luchs for example, when comparable vehicles that dont have thermals are 1 BR lower.

It’s not exactly 1:1 since the AHEAD still has way too low damage (and there’s bug reports on it), but close enough.
Well if you take into account slower shell velocity and RPM of M247 - I’d say it’s somewhat 1:1
IIRC the AHEAD is quite abit worse than HE-VT, but still Gepard/Gepard clones and PZG09 being 8.3 is insanely goofy.

Yes, also it doesnt work basically at all if the target is flying away from you at all
