This only happens very rarely so I don’t think there’s much point for it. Just try and be careful when firing missiles near teammates. 20k sl is also a small price to pay for most people at top tier
Stuff like this shouldn’t cost you anything. And I’m including when you launch a missile at an enemy and it pitpulls on a random teammate for no reason.
IDK why people would always blame the player instead of the game mechanics like 100% of the time. You also mentioned that your missile accidentally locking onto a teammate, I can’t say too much about that. But your case here (the maverick missiles splash damage), at least for me, was definitely not your fault.
Honestly I don’t think we can do too much about it here. I always do stick-to-floor ground pounding and never got accidentally shot down by teammate. It looks like a very rare case just happened to you and that poor guy who got shot down. But yeah, It is indeed something to raise our concern about
I have had AIM-7Ps launch and instead of going for the person I have locked flying right at me go 90 degrees off to the side into the back of a teammate. It’s stupid that stuff like that happens and you get punished despite having literally no control.
Happened to me as well. Take my advise and maybe save your time by not talking about such topic on this forum. All other people will just reply you something like “Skill issue” or “Your fault”. They’ll never be helpful but just push all responsibilities onto you.
Maybe the “radar missile locks onto teammate” is a bug to fix, or it is not a bug. I am no expert and I can’t say too much about it. The frustration comes when all other players lean toward the game’s side and be like: “It is definitely not the game’s fault and Gaijin should never investigate about it, let’s just keep this absurd thing happening to everyone”. Yeah pretty disappointed in current players’ mindset
